I actually paid once with Raptor tickets (her son big Raptor fan) and another time with Leaf tickets when they were playing the Habs (she was/is a big Habs fan). Those tickets were worth more than their posted rates.

Several years ago I was her last appointment. She said look at all this crap.

The flowers --- straight into the garbage.
The chocolates - she gave to me because chocolates make her fat.
The alcohol she kept.
That’s sad, rude and just pure ungrateful. People put a lot of
Thought and effort into kind gestures and it’s a
Big love language not to be dismissed as garbage.

Wait a second here. Isn't it the service provider who is suppose to tip the paying customer? My stockbroker always sends me a fruit basket every Christmas. Our company's lawyers/accountants invites me to lunch on a fairly regular basis. I also get Leaf/Raptor/Blue Jay tickets on a regular basis from my or the company's service providers.

I think some of you guys have it backwards.
Those guys are stealing your money and blinding you with gifts they received from someone else or written off through business taxes/expenses :)

I'll tip if I really enjoyed myself. Sometimes I'll bring a gift, but I don't believe I've ever done that on a first visit, and it's never generic. It'll be something I know she likes based on what I learned from her on earlier visits.
I actually find it tacky for ladies to have a gift list on their websites. It takes the organic nature of learning that first-hand out of the equation, and moreso commercializes it. At that point, I figure, I'm already paying for the session, why do a gift beyond that?
They don’t necessarily offer the list (agency women) but are asked to provide suggestions.
it’s also like telling your friends and family what to get your for Christmas— it’s taking the element of surprise away and essentially saying hey, I know you don’t know me at all but here’s some parameters.

Just curious what the popular custom is.

I see some reviews where people bring chocolate or wine to the appointment even if it’s the first time seeing the sp. I wonder how prevalent it is and if the gesture is appreciated by the sp’s in such a way that it materially improves the service provided.

Also, is the general assumption that we tip like we do with restaurants, 15% etc? Or a quick $20 after the session will suffice? If I already paid upfront how do I give the tip? After I pull my pants back up do I flip out a 20 out and throw it on the bed as I’m tightening my belt up?
You can be upfront and say thank you and slide the bill into her hand or purse and be all cute about it or leave it on her jacket /clothes for when she’s out of the shower. Pull her in close for a kiss and then rub the bill across her hand into her pocket. Then she’ll want to be kissing you more as she’s out the door

Just curious about the custom.wtf there is no custom.
Dont we already pay a lot for the services of an SP.
Hell the agencies should give us gifts for being loyal customers.

Usually the paying customer is the one that leaves the tip, if you’re suggesting, it should be the other way around then I should expect my pizza delivery man to tip me once he brings me the pizza.

I tipped an SP once.
Several years ago I won a free session at Mirage at a Christmas party that Terb's social convener set up.
I used it and made sure to tip as I figured she wasn't going to be paid much for the date.

I tend to see regulars which I would share a drink and would bring something small for the holidays and birthdays. And may have the odd dinner, strictly off the clock.

Other ladies, never.

And to each, their own.
