Well, you can go all skoob and build some racist walls or you could think about root causes.
Supporting demographic reform or whatever it takes so people don't need to flee their homes.
Working to fix climate change that's also creating migrants everywhere.
All walls are built to keep out anything or anyone you don't want to freely get in.
People said Trump was racist because he wanted to build a wall...Biden wanted to continue building that wall and crickets.
Yes it's the same wall because its a border wall. Same intention and same purpose.

Tell us who the border wall is trying to keep out. Can you provide that simple answer? Be specific or I'll keep asking you to be specific so why waste your time?

I am just able to see that two walls aren't the same.
I am also able to see a weak false equivalence when presented.
The funny thing is that I am actually against Biden's immigration policy and think in general his handling of the Southern border has been the weakest part of his presidency.
I just don't go for bullshit rhetoric like "Biden is building Trump's wall" and the idea that Trump was called racist because he wanted "a wall" and not the wall he actually demanded and the reasons he demanded it.
If you can't see that the walls are the same then that is the root of your problem. No false equivalence. Same wall, same intent. One was called out for what it is, one not called out for what it is.

Perhaps it's lost on you that they aren't continuing on to the Canadian border at some point. It would seem easy to cross over into Canada. Maybe they think there is more opportunities for them and their families longer-term in the U.S. than Canada.

Not sure there is. We have way more social measures to accommodate them. But then again we already get way too many immigrants then we can handle.
All that said misery is easier under warm sun than crazy cold. so its a weather issue
