For anybody who truly cares about the Palestinians as opposed to just being Jew haters, in light of the fact that Hamas is getting their butts kicked and has zero chance of winning, what would be the rational thing for Hamas to do.

Israel's stated goal is to eradicate Hamas and they are well on their way to accomplishing that. Why would they agree to a ceasefire? It's not their fault that Hamas is too cowardly to fight them face to face and uses their own citizenry to hide behind.

It is incumbent upon Hamas to protect the people they have sworn to protect. Instead Hamas is sacrificing them. And no country is lifting a finger to help them. There has not even been any movement to strengthen sanctions against Israel. NOBODY IS HELPING HAMAS. THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF WINNING ON THE BATTLEFIELD.
