So is the argument now that after 17 years of blockade and 5 'wars' on Gaza the people of Gaza are now too angry at Zionists to live with them so you need to kill them all?
Even though you'd think you'd be able to make the connection that when you give 'Israeli Arabs' almost the same rights as Jews inside the green line they were able to get over even the Nabka and live peacefully? Arabs are just fine.
But Israel has a right to defend itself. And HAMAS has entrenched itself in an urban area. So there's going to be destruction of property and civilian casualties. There always is.
If HAMAS didn't want that, they should not have committed 10/7. Then there would be no IDF invasion.

Which means 7 km less border to patrol on the West side. The new settlements can slowly start moving forward to the old border with relative safety.
And no doubt several construction firms have contracts lined up to commence the demolition and clean up of Gaza city. It will take years but eventually good things will come.

Mandrill, its an occupation. Palestine, including Gaza, are occupied territories. Israel does not have the right to self defence against the people its occupying according to international law.
Its the occupation that is the source of all the violence, not the indigenous people resorting to violence and terrorism. If you call Hamas 'terrorists' for targeting civilians then you need to explain why you don't call Israelis 'terrorists' for doing the same thing but on 10x the scale.
Israel is killing Palestinians all through the West Bank and enabling settler terrorist attacks there at the same time, this is a war on Palestinians, not Hamas. You don't withhold all food and water to 2.3 million civilians on a war on 'terrorism'.

1. Palestinians disagree with the premise of Israel. And they WERE right, in 1948, because Israel is the result of colonial paper partition. Britain was a colonial power and they did not have a right to take the land and give it to someone else, who did not live there in the first place. However I will concede that given present day realities the Palestinians should be more reasonable. Now another point to mention is that several in Israel, like Bibi run on a platform of "No Palestinian Statehood". Infact, they DENY Palestinian identity. Like even the label. Further Israel steals land. So the Palestinians do not have state, not just because of their own mistakes, but also because of Israeli maliciousness.

Controls essentials like food, power, water - which as you know they were able to cut off while people panicked in darkness at hospitals in Gaza. In 2014, they even restricted calories of food, which is some dystopian bullshit. The 10,000+ dead people should also tell you what a big prison Gaza really is.
