There is more bombing in the north. Not fully safe, but they're safer in the south. If Hamas evacuated the south, then the Gazans there would be safe.They are bombing North and South Gaza. There are not many places to "just walk to in 1 day".

Nothing belies the real assessment the US has for Israel as much as the revelation that it’s US drones flying over Gaza. Nothing says “you’re not up to it” like that.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. Israel is deliberately targeting Hamas. Hamas are the ones putting them in harms way deliberately and directly in front of the target.

Lt John R. Fox, US Army, got a Medal of Honour for calling artillery on himself when he was surrounded killing himself and 100 enemy. That's no different than a suicide bomb.
