Hamas brought all this on the Gazans. Use whatever "justifications" you want, Hamas' actions set all this in motion. And any "justification" for Hamas' attack is also justifying the death and suffering of Gazans that will be coming. And you knew that the Gazans would suffer as soon as Hamas launched their attack. And that's OK with you.
Franky keeps displaying his racist view that Palestinians are incapable moral actions.

The IDF provided more details relating to the horrific weekend attack…..they found evidence of teenagers being burned alive after being placed into truck tires. ….decapitations…. rapes….etc….these are monsters who did this…..this is 16th century brutality, and I am not surprised

Rights are guaranteed by a higher authority that has the power to impose penalties, fines, violence, and imprisonment. If your rights as a citizen of this country are violated then the justice system is used to enforce your rights. If this country is invaded by another country, who is the authority that will stop them? The UN?
At its most basic, rights are guaranteed by the ability to defend those rights.

But people keep discussing the idea of self-determination which means both Israel and Palestine have the 'right' to exist because that's hat the people want. The difficulty is getting groups including Israeli extremists but more significantly the Palestinian government in Gaza (Hamas) to accept that their self determination doesn't invalidate the others'.

Israel is not occupying Gaza, not since 2005. Egypt has also closed its border crossing. Nobody wants terrorists in their midst. Millions have been donated to the Palestinians and they elect a reprobate terrorist organization to lead them, and use that $ to buy weapons instead of food.
Israel is occupying Gaza according to the UN and Amnesty.

Israel's government are also terrorists, they are as we speak bombing civilians and targeting civilians, that is the definition of terrorism.
They have cut off all power, food and water to the civilian base, 50% of whom are children.
Terrorists, just like Hamas but with nukes, drones and missiles.

Wow. Talk about a fallacious argument. I merely copied and pasted well-documented information from Wikipedia, detailing how Saudi Arabia teaches their 8th graders to hate and despise Jews (and Christians as well). I didn't write the article, or the Saudi Arabia textbooks.

Now let's say you and I are holding guns to each other's heads. You have hated me for years, and have publicly wished me dead. But you say "Hey, xmontrealer, if you put down your gun I promise not to shoot you". Should I just put down my gun and trust you to do me no harm, without ironclad assurances to the contrary?
Over one million Arabs/Muslims live and/or work in Israel. The issue here is conflating peaceful citizens with reprobate nutbars, who, like ISIS, will hopefully be extinguished soon.

Yet you demand that a Palestinian state has a right to exist. What a surprise; terb's biggest anti-semite has different standards when it comes to Jews.
Wrong again, buddy.
I keep saying that we need an immediate ceasefire followed by an international campaign to end apartheid.

You have already wiped Palestine off the map.
So the best we can do is give Palestinians equal rights in the one state solution that exists right now.

The Israelis left Gaza in 2005. I am done with this. You might want to do some reading.

You just said that Palestinians have to fight for basic rights.
At its most basic, rights are guaranteed by the ability to defend those rights.
Now you say its immoral to do so?

By the way, I keep trying to remind you that I support the Palestinian BDS movement.
A moral route towards peace through ending apartheid.

Like the Amnesty report that quotes human rights and international law.

Amnesty International, the World Health Organization, Oxfam, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the United Nations, the United Nations General Assembly, the UN Fact Finding Mission to Gaza, international human rights organizations, US government websites, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and a significant number of legal commentators (Geoffrey Aronson, Meron Benvenisti, Claude Bruderlein, Sari Bashi, Kenneth Mann, Shane Darcy, John Reynolds, Yoram Dinstein, John Dugard, Marc S. Kaliser, Mustafa Mari, and Iain Scobbie) maintain that Israel's extensive direct external control over Gaza, and indirect control over the lives of its internal population mean that Gaza remained occupied”

Another brainwashed dolt.

The problem with a one-state solution (call it Palestisrael) is that in a few election cycles there will be a majority Arab party government in power, and it doesn't take much imagination to figure out where the Jews would stand in that new nation under that circumstance.

Israel is currently a Jewish theocracy, just as Iran, etc., are Muslim theocracies. Not ideal, but that's the way it is in the Middle East.

Israel's Jews would be fools to allow their country to become just another Muslim controlled nation.

Are you saying you don't think Israel can survive as a democracy and needs to forever stay apartheid?

No, Hamas is not justified in attacking civilians.
They are justified in attacking the army and any miltants.
...
I see lots of posts where you're defending Hamas' choice. Where are the posts where you criticize their butchering civilians? Oh that's right, you've repeatedly posted that Jews in Israel is fair game because in your words "you can't tell them apart".

Is this ok with you? The 'Japan solution' you suggested the other day?
