What golf clubs should I buy. I am an okay golfer who plays 2 times a week now. What type of clubs should I buy. Would appreciate your views.
Nobody here can give a proper answer for that. Ideally get fitted for clubs by a pro.

Short of that, find some clubs that fit your budget and hit a bunch of balls off the simulator. See which ones you feel the most comfortable with and take it from there.

How do you have time for 42 000 plus comments. Sorry off topic. Do you get some sort of alert.

When you think about it, over a 22 year period, it works out to only about 5 posts a day. I'm pretty sure there are many posters who average much more than that.

I think I joined during TERB's 1st year of existence.

It hard to say which clubs you should buy.
Golf Town will most likely try and sell you on an expensive set.
Try and find an independent golf store that has an indoor net to hit balls into.
Test out a cheap set, then a middle range priced set and an expensive set.
I prefer graphite shaft over steel. But that's a personal preference.
My clubs are Taylor Made with graphite shafts. Driver is an older Taylor Made R7.
I thought about upgrading to newer Taylor Made irons but I doubt it will make any difference in my pathetic game.

20 HCp get players clubs that are easy to hit. All
Companies have them. Stay away from forged.
Ya muscle backs hurt my forearms. I like the ball flight though. It's tough going through the different forged irons as companies bend the irons at different angles these days, like a pw from Titleist would be a gap or sw at other makes
