How many days before Wagner commander ‘falls’ from a 4st story window?
Is it gonna be a betting pool? I suggest using each 8 hour period from now on, since nobody in their right mind would go out more than 5 days. Put me down for 6/26 at 2 AM Moscow time. Unless they lock him up for a show trial, that is...

For all we know Prigozhin may have staged this at Putin behest as Putin needed to know how his govt would react in a crisis. It may have been a test for Shoigu and Garasimov, a test that they seem to have failed. So now they will have to resign. Pregozhin will now go to Belarus, where he will back up the ill and aging Lushenko and review the Russian and Belarus troops for the final act in the Ukraine war when they will have to attack south to close the western border of Ukraine.

"What could happen next?
John Herbst, a former US ambassador to Ukraine, says it's hard to imagine the crisis in Russia will come to a halt now.
He tells the BBC it's not clear what will unfold next, but Prigozhin is not going to submit to being under the control of the Ministry of Defense.
This moment could mark a pause before an actual "clash of arms", says Herbst.
Or perhaps Putin would be willing to back away from his statements and maintain precautions, he says.
Either way, the West should be "watching carefully and saying nothing", he says."

This is interesting. Sounds like the crisis still comes as good
news to Ukraine.

The man in the Kremlin is very afraid - Zelensky

Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky has put out a statement commenting on the day's events.

He said: "Today is a day when there definitely should be no silence. And we definitely need leadership. Today the world saw that the bosses of Russia do not control anything. Nothing at all. Complete chaos. Complete absence of any predictability. And it is happening on Russian territory, which is fully loaded with weapons."

Zelensky added that today, "all Russian bandits, mercenaries and oligarchs" saw how easy it was to "capture Russian cities".

He once again urged Western partners to support Ukraine and to help it "protect Europe" with planes and weapons.

Then, switching from Ukrainian to Russian, he said: "The man from the Kremlin is obviously very afraid and probably hiding somewhere, not showing himself. I am sure that he is no longer in Moscow."

"He knows what he is afraid of because he himself created this threat. All evil, all losses, all hatred – it is he who spreads it."

Not that easy.Note that he hasn't captured one himself.

Reports, yes. Doesn't equal truth, unfortunately.....
Who gives a fuck about Putin. And who knows either since he uses several doubles as he is afraid of his own people. Has spent tens of millions on his own private underground railroad to take him to one of his many bunker homes. A different one each night. Like old Fidel Castro!

A brave Man of the Long Table Putin is indeed.

Or are you disputing "reports" that Zelensky didn't flee Kyiv? Or that he didn;'t say "I need ammunition, not a ride"? Or gone into hiding? Or not visited front line soldiers? Or not gone to the sites of mass civillian attacks within hours?

Go ahead, speak, your mind. Express. yourself clearly, without weasel words.

I think the regular army is reluctant to exterminate the Wagner troops, because they need them as shock troops. They need to lose prigozhin without losing the troops.

And to the ones hoping for prigozhin to win: consider his fingers on the nuclear button.
The "regular army" can't eliminate Wagner that easily. Are you thinking that regular servicemen "need them as shock troops"? Have you not been following along? The regular Russian army are the cannon fodder fed into the meat grinder. Wagner merc's are more competent than the regular Russian servicemen. (except the prisoners).

If you are referring to the Russian military leadership being reluctant to eliminate Wagner... again you must have been watching some concerto instead. Wagner is PISSED because Shoigu and Gerasimov are trying to eliminate, no... KILL them and their leader. These guys are personally threatened by Prigozhin's words and power. They don;'t give one fuck between the two of them about winning this war, only surviving their own self-inflicted nightmare.

And unlike Putin, Prigozhin will not lose power nor his life if Russia doesn't win in Ukraine. He is a wily character with basic survival instincts and has ZERO interests in bringing the inevitable armageddon if Russia launches nukes. Prigozhin has already said the Ukraine war was folly and a personal glory trip for Gerasimov and Putin. And he knows how tough the Ukes are fighting and KNOWS he doesn't even want to imagine trying to stay in Ukraine even if it was possible to win.

So why would he nuke anyone?

Name calling, eh? The refuge of all schmuck.
Oy vey! Calling someone a schmuck is name calling. Just saying someone is a penis is unrealted to the subject.

Me saying. you are a weasel is used as an adjective.. According to the Oxford Dictionary, an adjective is a word or phrase naming an attribute.

Oxford further defines weaselly as being Devious; cunning; misleading; sneaky.

If I had have capitalized it, then I would be making it a noun and been guilty of name calling.

For all "we" know .... you are really stretching this Russia excusenikking.

True, Putin, Pregozhin, Shoigu, Gerasimov and all of Russia is one big cesspool of lying, deception, corruption and propaganda.

But it is also true that they are very ham fisted and are not really able to coordinate these cockamamie schemes you Vatniks buy into. Like trying to invade and take over Ukraine in 3 days. You really think that Putin would risk everything over a test? Russia tests itself every day.. and it fails. It is only because of its sheer mass that it survives these failed tests.

Or are you saying that Pregozhin is the very best actor of all time and his rants and taking over Russia's MOD Southern HQ and all of the city of a million Rostov-on-Don was all just a big show?

Like Zelensky playing the piano with his massive balls? 😜

You live in the same fantasy delusion of Russia that has made them, and will continue to make them the pentultimate losers and laughing stock of the rest of the world... until they get a grip on objective reality.

Not that easy.Note that he hasn't captured one himself.
He also hasn't scored a hole in one on the Windmill Hole at the Clearwater Mini Golf and Go Kart track. Because he isn't interested and hasn't tried.

But while we are on the subject. Seeing as Russia had already recognized many towns and cities in eastern Ukraine as being offically pat of the Russian Federation, I guess you are right that Zelensjy hasn't captured ONE himself. He recaptured EIGHT "Russian cities" last week.

Ukraine prepares 'biggest blow' as it claims recapture of eight villages from Russia
