The question is whether he declares the war done and Donbas and Crimea as Russian or if he retreats further.

He has talked tough in the past, but if he is in, he would probably want to find the easy way to distract himself from a War that would only be winnable if Trump gets in or if he goes full Potato which the Russian population won't be too fond of.
On the other hand, would Ukraine accept a return to pre invasion borders or still insist on pre 2014 borders and would that be too much for Pierogi to accept.

The man in the Kremlin is very afraid - Zelensky

Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky has put out a statement commenting on the day's events.
