Housing is an issue. Especially so in more recent times in Canada. But maybe not so much in some other rich countries.
Regardless, the amount of people going solo has never been higher.

Canada is no worse than other rich countries on housing. We are still cheap compared to other G7 countries.

Ironically, more well off women are the most likely to want to get and stay married in a "patriarchal" institution despite its supposed oppression and their being more able to get by without it. Hypergamy dies hard it seems
[/QUOTE]
Good luck to the women finding all the alpha males. There are more extremes with men(bums and CEOs), but there are simply not enough suitable men for women.
More women in university than men. Also, more women in government jobs(with fantastic indexed DB pensions) than men.

Historically?
Men have been conscripted into armies from the dawn of organized societies until the Mid 1970s.
They have been forced to fight and die in wars whether they want to or not, and if they don't, they are sent to jail or worse.
This is something that has never been done to women, and is in fact the primary reason why men had the right to vote for so long and women didn't. Because men were forced to sacrifice their very lives for their countries. Women were not. Voting was a reward for that obligation.

Just something to think about.

In my opinion, it’s harder to be female in this world. We all know the things that women have to deal with, childbirth, etc.
Men also have many issues to deal with but if you were to ask man if they had a chance to be reborn, would they opt to be male or female.
Just my personal opinion, but I believe the vast majority of men would choose to be male.

The vote wasn't for military service, it was for owning property. Until the 1900s, most soldiers had no democratic vote in the policies that sent them to fight. Guess what their vote would be

Childbirth happens a handful of times at most. The things that I mention that shorten lifespans for men are ongoing threats and more likely to happen to men. Many more women didn't even have to work until recently. Indeed, women entering the workforce in large numbers in the 70s coincides with when real wages plateaued and fell (rising supply lowers prices) making the two income household a necessity. Women get various subsidies from both government and higher earning husbands (the old joke that men need to make more to pay for her date) and have multiple orgasms. Is there a male equivalent to Ladies Night? 😎

OK. Pass a grapefruit through your dickhole a few times and get back to us about that "handful of times".....

While there are definitely things men experience that are very hard that women do not, when it comes down to it and I ask myself if I’d rather have been born a woman, the answer is always no.

It is not. Again, by measurable statistics it is harder on men. Follow the science. It's not a valid answer to ask someone who has not been the other gender whether they want to be that gender. Everything about your gender has biased you in favour of preferring your gender. I enjoy male things so of course I want to be a man. Ever heard of unconscious bias? This is exhibit A

There pros and cons to both being male/female ofc. Id choose to be a guy cuz of my dick, but if were being honest.

In a first world country, women imo have it easier overall aside from child birth and everythng that goes with that.

My first part time job as a high school kid, all the guys had to lift heavy labour while the ladies were cashiers. The question I have is, can we do the cashier’s job as guys, and the ladies do heavy labour? From this one angle, women have it easier no question as we can do their job here, but not the other way around. Both paid the same min wage.

In social settings, attractive ladies are ALWAYS given perks whereas a guy in the same situation would be judged (potentially in a negative light).

Who has to go to war? Men. Not women by in large.

Who can make an OF acct and bank more coin than your average “regular” job? Women.

Parental child disputes? Women get the upper hand here all the time from the courts and in some cases, undeserved.

And a lot of women - if asked - would say no to wanting to be born a man.

The war of the sexes is kinda stupid when you really break it down. We are two sides of the same coin.

Man and woman in an elevator. Both are anxious of the other. Why? Because she is afraid he will rape her and he is afraid she will accuse him falsely of rape.

There are so many of these types of scenarios and situations. That is why, ideally, women and men should be able to partner well together. Beats the fuck out of me why we don’t.

What "science" are you referring to? Biology? That isn't enough. There are the human ignorance and misogyny too.

I will never agree that childbirth should be flung off so easily. Of course, women have the choice (in most western cultures except the US) not to have children but in most cultures, women have it much tougher.....

In third world countries Id agree. But not here. Ive seen random guys girls at parties before, the guys get shunned and arent accepted, while the women have the carpet rolled out for them.

In a he said/she said dispute such as rape, who typically gets the benefit of the doubt? Women without question.

I love women and understand they have their own unique challenges as a guy Il never have to experience, but most guys have imo more challenges in life than the average woman.

I gave birth to a 9mm kidney stone 20 years ago. And my dickhole is a lot smaller than a vagina, though I didn't need an episiotomy to pass it. (Btw Morphine is very over-rated!)

That said I was present at the birth of my son, watching his head crowning. It seemed tougher for my wife.

Also hard to imagine myself having a monthly menstrual period, and going golfing with cramps and blood dripping from my dick...

Sorry, you're too clever to be understood.

If you're joking and further proving my point about men that you get not only a "like" but a high five

If you're being serious, well, then, let's have a go

Well, they do live longer, less likely to work physically, less likely to be victims of violent crimes, less suicide, do not go to war and can get paid just for showing body parts.
