Telling a partner you saw a sex worker?

It's a sort of catch-22 situation. If you have a partner who would be OK with a sex worker, you probably don't really need a sex worker...
Could you imagine if the future wife or GF asking this, used to be a SP? or is one while been with you?
What gives?

That's a death wish if you tell her. What's happened in the past stays in the past.
And if you want to do it now, it's the choice of 2 options: pissing into the wind hoping you'll stay dry or pouring gas on a fire.

When you do this for a while, it's easy to forget that prostitution exists on the very fringe of society. On the other hand, telling your SO about this is a great way to get rid of her, if you're looking for a reason.

My wife drops me off at the rub and tug and goes shopping. She knows it’s for sexual release and not emotionally cheating. She thinks it’s funny and wants to open one for women. Too bad that wouldn’t work….she could be my pimp😜

A cute SW tried propositioned me one night when I was waiting for the streetcar. She invited me back to her place but said "I'd have to pay for it." I said no thanks, I don't pay for sex. To which she replied, "okay, how about you buy me breakfast in the morning." Is that technically paying for sex?

I kind of like to think I would be able to.
Has anyone told them if asked point blank if they every used a sex worker.

The consensus on reddit is most women wouldn’t be in a relationship with someone who had.
How have people here broached the subject?

Did it come up early on in your dating?

Or have you just not mentioned it?
I think doing so could rightly be defined as a suicide attempt and would invite intervention from the authorities.

Her possible response ..
"Odd that you had to pay for yours yet I've been getting all of mine for free. "

I thought for a while and honestly.
It's a decent shit test to figure out if your values align.
The ones who'd be ok with it would be likely be better sexual partners and less likely to view sex in the original sin / prude type way.
The ones who'd be ok with it would be sex positive and probably more compatible.

Keep in mind it's hypocritical as many would be fine with a partner who

"used to be a player but has decided to settle down"
Which is code for ... I lied to women and told them I wanted something serious when I wanted to just use them for sex and nothing else.

The honest truth is dudes who have lots of “free” casual sex aren’t doing it ethically most of the time.

It’s hard as a guy to find someone attractive who will have no strings attached sex just for the hell of it.

Like if I wanted casual sex I could probably just tell potential tinder matches who wanted a relationship that I did too and then just dump them after sex.
I'd feel like a horrible person. In my mind that's worse than paying a sex worker for a service.Paying someone for their time feels like the better thing to do.

The "free" sex of the one night stand nature isn't meant to be "free" ... you're basically doing a "dine and dash". The payment was supposed to be emotional support and companionship, which you said you'd provide.
Yet somehow sex work is immoral and the other is celebrated...

Kinda nuts if you ask me.

And yes "free" casual sex exists. It's just rare and not an easy thing to find.
