rape charges would never stick. I know people preach about safety but like mentioned its a high risk lifestyle. His mugshot has me in tears hes clearly homeless.

I don’t know. I don’t buy drugs where I would have to worry about this.

you don’t need to hear why he didn’t pay. That is for the judge. I’m just point out that whether it was legal or not, he would still be charged with theft.

but it seems some of you don’t care that he did this to multiple woman and want his poor record clean from prosecution.
No judge in the land will order this guy who is an apparently an opportunistic slime bag to pay a cent to the prostitutes that he likely duped with the laws of the land they way they are.
A risk that prostitutes take is that they will have to deal with bad johns, dirty johns and cheap johns etc. Furthermore prostitution in Canada is viewed as a personal choice and not a necessity with the generous government social safety net. Bill C36 allows for free job training towards other trades ( taxable ones) .
Don’t take umbrage but, the criminal courts will not help in this case, that is if this case even
gets to court for many reasons.

Theft of an illegal service is an oxymoron.

‘you don’t need to hear why he didn’t pay. That is for the judge.” This line made me 😹

He could be liable for damage and stress.

But that's not the issue. The issue here is basically theft.

Your application of the law has double standards or you just cannot explain. Thanks
Not at all but think what you like. I can’t comment on it as I’m not in that world.

I have already explained the difference and I agree with the police. End of my opinion. Take or leave. I don’t really care.

Personally I don't care either because in all threads your opinion is what matters the most.
Take it or leave it the only way to end any discussion. :)
Double quoting me to end a conversation????

😂😂😂😂😂😂. All because I laughed. Ok pumpkin. You go ahead and doubly have the last word if you need it so bad.

Have a good day.

Good question. It would be great to know the full story. Was it an all too familiar situation where she promised a bunch of services via text and then refused to perform after receiving payment so he took his donation back? I've never been in a situation where I wasn't asked for the donation before the fun starts unless it's with someone I've seen multiple times and we have a level of trust that had already been established so I find it highly suspect that she went through the 'date' and tried to collect at the end. Especially with a guy who looks like the accused.

Like most stories I read these days, the name of the game is click bait.
Under the Freedom of Information Act you could visit any Durham Regional police station and request a copy of any police report if you wish to know more. If the case goes to trial I would think you are welcome in the court room as an observer as well.

What's wrong with that ? Can you explain
You do it all the time, but have 20 question marks when others do it.
Maybe its you cynical way of trolling and reporting the member.

What? I don’t understand what you are trying to say. He quoted me ending the conversation. I laughed at the post. So he quoted me again right after with another “conversation ending” post.

I don’t do that. At all. I will at least wait for a text response to actually post back to. Like most people do.

Either way I found it extra funny that he felt the need to double down. You don’t have to like or agree. I’m perfectly fine with that

From what I understand of the current laws all an escort has to do is call the police and say that you paid for sex and that would be enough to have you charged. You don't have to steal or physically harm them, you could have a very good session but because you paid for illegal services your ass can go to jail regardless of the circumstances.

Where's the proof?

This is the basis why I bother to reply in this thread. It's he said she said. They can simply say you didn't pay them and they have the power to accuse you of being a rapist. Police will agree with them and charge you and publicly name you.

The cops can easily find proof and build a case. Was your phone in the area? Were you on video surveillance of the hotel or condo building? If you have a good lawyer I guess you could argue what happened after you entered the room but honestly, it's too far gone at that point. I don't think they would go through all of that unless it was something really egregious, rape, homicide - in this case, the dude did this repeatedly and committed other frauds. But technically under the law, we are all committing a crime if you visit an escort.

I'm not defending the law, it's a really stupid dumb law that only a feminist woke government would pass - which by the way does nothing to protect women because it only discourages clients from reporting abuse and human trafficking. It's similar to the Ghomeshi trial in that his defense did everything by the book, but because it returned a non-guilty verdict they had to change the laws so that a defendant accused of rape now has to disclose his defense and has to prove their innocence, which is totally absurd.

It's one of the reasons why I only see agency ladies now, the risk is too great to frequent leolist and independent ladies unless they are known providers or they use to work for an agency. It's not worth taking that risk anymore, not to mention gen z pimps and hoes don't give a fuck and they would rather extort you for money than have repeat customers.
