Manoah doesn't throw he pitches, he's learned quickly...I still want to see him pull a Moe Howard on Garrit Cole. The cheetah Yankee hitting Vlady on the wrist last year has yet to be answered.

Day game today at 2pm.

Manoah needs to cut down on the walks he allows and the hit batsmen.

Never liked the Belt signing when it was initially announced, looking at his at bats the last couple of games his bat speed isn't there anymore. Atkins whiffed on this one, could of use the money on a another bullpen arm.

Just got home Jays were up 6-0, Richards not pitching well 6-2. Vlady hits his second dinger 430 feet.

Why is Alex Verdugo still chirping? Go to 12.50. Jays win.

Correcting my grammar, and I deleted my last post.

I am also not feeling the Brandon Belt situation. But I do feel like buying a Varsho jersey lol.

Dalton Varsho is a joy to watch.

Excellent fielder, timely hitter and he runs like Steven Seagal.

He does run like that lol. Hey are one of those guys in that video the mystery man that murdered Tony Soprano in the final scene of the series? The song/mood of that video. Something reminds me of that. Makes me want to order onion rings for the table.

Seriously, Varsho looks awesome. Still think Belt might be a bust. But whatever one year for $9 million is nothing for these assholes. They can easily issue him his walking papers if they feel like it. Get him off the 40 man. I do like his beard and batting stance though.

We learned from the flawed The Many Saints of Newark that Salvatore Moltisanti (Christopher's granduncle) was the Boss of the NJ Family. Even in jail he was all powerful, he knew everything. Brilliantly played by Ray Liotta, his nephew Dicki Moltisanti had reason to fear him.

What a loss!

I tried so many times to get through that movie, and I couldn't do it. It is sad because I love the Sopranos. The father of somebody very special to me, looks exactly like Richie Aprile. Lol

Those of you who know junior hockey will appreciate the nickname I created for Brandon Belt- Brandon Weak Swings.

Baseball is a sport where many, many times players revert to form in spite of short term peaks and valleys. 7 games is less than 5% of the season. I saw many articles written this past off-season calling for the Jays to acquire Belt.

People wanted to send Bichette to the minors during his prolonged and deep slump last year. He still ended up leading the league in hits and looks great so far this year.

I'm still waiting for BB to hit a homer so that we can hear Dan Shulman give his signature call (or what used to be) "A swing and a belt!"

Considering how awkward the game was and how Bassit struggled, it seems to be quite an unexpected comeback for the Jays tonight.

But sometimes determination, grit and professionalism prevails. I think that the professionalism may be an overall aspect to this team that the last few years didn't possess. All those aspects were on view tonight as they clawed back.

Bassit did not have an easy night but the fact that he made it through 6 full, saved the Jays from possibly having to use 4 relievers instead of just 3. He was determined to finish the sixth and probably gained a lot of respect of the teammates he was pitching for, for only the 2nd real game. Some team building going on there.

Berrios and BP sucked , another error for Pierre Poilievre Jr and bottom 3rd of batting order did nothing  can’t lose anymore ground to TB, can’t believe they are 8 and 0

And I still think Ross Atkins should be assassinated for trading Hernandez. Lol I don't think I will ever let that go.

I mean this season, it's fantastic to watch Chapman and his final value setting year for his free agency. I really hope he has a great year. And that could very well set this team over the top. But what the hell are they going to do for next year when Chapman is not signed for his asking price of 30 million a year? That's where the mishandling of the Hernandez situation is going to come into effect in my mind. He's the lineup piece that could easily have filled in the void of Chapman leaving. Or even possibly Bichette leaving in three years for that matter. I feel Hernandez had so much value from so many sides of the coin.

.....but on the other hand, who really knows what was attempted. Maybe they did try to extend him.
