Did you read what I stated? You are just discussing a very tiny minority of gays that may agree with you. Again not many youths go through Gender-Affirming Surgery. It is only after they have reached the age of consent, meaning 18 years old then it becomes their choice to do so. In extenuating circumstances and with the parents consent some of them do go through such a surgery, but they are normally around the 16 year mark. Those who identify themselves as transgender are much more likely to commit or attempt to commit suicide than gays, bisexuals or lesbians. Around 45% of them have attempted to do so. Many of these are youth or below 18 years old and that is a concern to their parents. Hence when they go through the Gender-Affirming Surgery, then they are very much less likely to even consider committing suicide:
