I’ve been catching up on Tulsa King as well, Sly is still in great shape for a 76 year old.

Also for the casual history nerds out there who enjoyed the docuseries like Roman Empire (3 seasons), the American West (1 season), The Last Czars (1 season) …Rise of Empires Ottoman just released a second season Mehmed vs Vlad. The first season ended with the fall of Constantinople, which was also the opening scene of Bram Stokers Dracula in 1992. Season 2 will show the Ottomans pushing deeper into Europe where they meet Vlad the Impaler.

With his craggy looks and voice, he kinda reminds me of Charles Bronson.
I wonder if he will go to Emmit's fix it shop to fix Emmit.

At least he will be forever stallone.

The Sopranos scene in Jimmy Kimmel's 20th Anniversary Show was priceless. Poor Matt Damon keeps getting the Rodney Dangerfield treatment.

a segment he made back in 2003 that never aired, until now.

I've been watching The Expanse and it's another show I regret sleeping on.

The first season is a bit slow and disjointed but it's worth sticking with since it gets better after that.

I finally got around to watching The Many Saints of Newark, in it's entirety - it's a flawed film. It devotes too much time on Dickie Moltisanti and almost no time on Tony and Junior Soprano. David Chase's premise is clear, if Johnny Boy Soprano and Dickie Moltisanti had been the central figures in Tony Soprano's life, he would have gotten himself whacked before he reached 25. Johnny Boy (not being very bright) holds Dickie in high esteem while holding his younger brother in disdain. Yet it's Corrado "Junior" Soprano who guides Tony's career, since Johnny Boy can't keep himself out of prison it's Uncle Junior who runs the show. Being a violent moron, Dickie's sense of superiority gets the best of him...you don't cross The Boss.

Is Corey Stoll the best character actor of his generation?

Alejandro Kirk's dad is a true Lothario, he gets Justine Lupe drunk then parts her thighs.

I am a big fan of the movie Friday Night Lights. Finally got around to watching the series. It is real good. The acting, the writing and the way it is shot really got my attention. It can be a bit teen drama at times, but there is enough other stuff to keep you attentive. I love football and this is a bit like a look behind the curtain. I recommend this series.

David Cronenberg's classic horror-thriller Dead Ringers is being morphed into a mini-series. When it came out in 1988, Dead Ringers quickly became the most disturbing psychological horror film ever made (imho). The Academy were two chicken to give Jeremy Irons a Best Actor Oscar for playing twin doctors Beverly and Elliot Mantle. He wasn't even nominated - none of the other nominated actors were remotely close to his characterizations. This time it's Rachel Weisz playing the Mantle Twins, what makes this even more interesting is Emily Meade is back (The Deuce, Boardwalk Empire).

....it will probably be banned in Florida.

I started watching an Icelandic TV show called Trapped on prime.

So far it's a good paced series set in a very snowy Iceland.

Love that movie but I'd call it more creepy than horror. But it's reallly creepy.

On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Greece
Looking forward to the last episode of the series of ''Snowfall' this week.

This show has exceeded all of my expectations.

The late John Singleton would be proud of the way his project turned out.
