The link below is almost a week old but still very useful.

I like Rob "don't waste time and money on changing street signs" Davis. Unfortunately, he might be too intelligent and rational for lefty/wokie Toronto.

I also like Mark "make Toronto safe again" Saunders but I fear he might be too intelligent and rational for lefty/wokie Toronto.
Who is running to become the next mayor of Toronto? | CityNews Toronto
Pardon the interruption, I hate to break the breaking news to you, but:

Toronto has been run and run into the ground since amalgamation by an unending steady stream of center and center-right city councilors, mostly from the inner suburbs plus 3 center-right mayors who have starved city revenues thru ridiculous after ridiculous fiscal/budgetary policies and decisions plus wasteful and wholly unneeded capital projects that have driven the state of central services and infrastructure into a state of long-term decay.

So to state that the above center-right candidates are both too intelligent and rational for the lefty/wokie Toronto that only exists in the minds and machinations of the center-right as the driving force of Toronto politics is unhinged from history, reality and only ends up continuing the decay and decline of the City of Toronto's services and state of good repair maintenance that have been the hallmarks of infamy of the center-right politicians who have run Toronto into the ground for the last 25 years.

More the effin same, you say?

You're quite mad you know.

Yup, and now we have more ttc cuts from Tory, a $2 billion bill for the fast track line that is provincial responsibility and the province raking in the cash while the cities starve.

And:

Mel Lastman with his white elephant Sheppard stub-way and moral failing.

Rob Ford with his TNT-ing of Miller's Transit City Plan, wasteful and unneeded Scarborough Subway extension, mythical crusade to derail the non-existent Gravy Train and of course his utter moral failings.

Long Don Tory with his $2billion wasteful fiasco of moving the eastern end of the Gardiner a few meters to the north, his dumbtrack and of course his moral failing.

The 3 amigos of center-right fiscal, budgetary and capital financial follies have combined to run Toronto into the ground.

"More of the same", "Sir, can we have some more please", the deluded of TERB all cry!

The myth of the genius of the center-right pols and their mantra that "you can have everything and more, for free" and their supporters has been exposed. Long Dong's last budget was the proverbial, "the chickens have come to roost moment", which exposed the fallacy of their policies with a 7.5 percent tax increase and gaping budgetary hole of $500million that has not been filled . Prepare yourselves for more!!!

You're all quite made, you know!

He made a fool of himself on the John Moore show about a week or two ago.
Well, that's what Lastman did throughout most of his term; Rob Ford did every hour/day/week/month/year throughout the totality of his term and what Long Dong Tory did under the cloak of opaqueness throughout his term only to be revealed by the implosion of his final and thank effin God term.

Center-right clown show mayors who ran the city to ruin.

As if this Moore clown would be any different.

If the blue cities and states in the U.S. is a guide then Toronto will suffer the same fate as San Fran, L.A., Seattle, Portland, etc. ("shithole cities").

Toronto council has been majority center-right for almost 25 years and the mayor for 17 years and they have driven it to ruin.

Brad Bradford is in.

BTW: It is heartwarming to see councillors on both the left and right criticize the Trudeau Liberals for providing no support to Toronto in the Federal Budget. Once again confirming they hate Toronto.

The Trudeau tax on banks is also anti-Toronto as all or nearly all banks are HQ in Toronto.

I wonder if both federal and provincal governments didn't budget money for Toronto because of the mayoral race. Once the race is over, they may cough up something.

Lets see where the money lands. But considering the state of the streets I'm pretty sure a conservative will win.
Not bloody likely.

The great dawning/reckoning is now here as the connection between 25 years of center-right council rule and 17 years of center-right mayors and the state of disrepair and ruin has been formed in the minds of the electorate.

More of the same, you want?

You're quite mad, you know.

True, but he hates it less if a right wing politician is running it.
We just had a decade or so of the crackhead followed by Tory.
How much worse can he treat the city?

City council?
Gardiner?
Transit?
Ontario Place?

He'll pay for the wrong big ticket transit builds (after Rob killed transit city) then starve the city so we can't afford the builds even with service cuts and fare hikes we have after Tory's budgets.

No land/property development fees. A $200-$300million a year freebie gifted to developers and paid for by city of Toronto taxpayers.
