I do go into Maloney yes. I thought this was fastest. I will look into the alternative you suggested thanks. That said, it is my intention to stop going to strip bars. I hope I can succeed. So far 3 weeks and counting but last time I had dances in a strip bar was late December. Wish me luck .

what downtown dance bars?

LOl there are so many in downtown I don't know the names, just get in and depending on atmosphere my stay can be short or long. The ones around Barefax are usually full after 11 pm though relatively young people on both sides of York street though my preference is young girls, and the ones on York near King Edward where the parking is, usually crowded later though make sure you don't have to stand in lineup for long in the cold. It is not fun and this happens when you are late. The ones on Dalhousie, Clarence street, George street, Cumberland all usually crowded after11 or midnight weekends only ..... the list goes on. Usually after 11 pm on weekends you see a lineup outside. Just join the lineup.

Google search them but the best way is in person looking for lineup outside the bars in downtown late weekend nights and find out which ones best tailored for you depending on your preferences and age and looks. Could cost you initially on cover charge if you visit many, however, no matter how many you visit on your first night, it will be less than having many private dances at strip bars as I used to for 20 years.

Take the NCC scenic route along the river. (Turn right after the bridge on Fournier) No potholes, only 2 stop signs and little traffic. The speed limit is 40 K. but everyone does 50-60 and it doesn't rip the bottom out of your car. Brings you onto the pothole road just before the golf course and it is a gorgeous drive to boot.
Alternatively, if you are on the 50, go all the way to Labrosse, turn right, keep straight to the bottom of the big hill and hang a right at St. Rene. Continue to Main, turn left and one block later you're there.
Both much quicker than Maloney where you WILL hit every interminable red light.

Long time lurker, finally jumping in for the express purpose of highly recommending Mercedes! The best experience I've had there since Dominique back in '09.

Thursday pm.

Broke my own commitment on quitting strip bars today as it was a special occasion so I arrived at Pigales around 2 pm. Quiet environment.

Sat by stage to watch Monica. Nice blonde and loved the sight of her unshaven kitty. In spite of warning about her here in this thread, I decided to take her downstairs. Nice nipples but her panty stayed on after 3 songs. She did not miscount the number of songs and I had pleasant time with her.

Next to go downstairs was a very pretty blonde by the name of Paris. I had 4 songs with her in the CR though she counted as 5. She is very pretty natural blonde/brownish but low mileage. I did kiss her belly and she was friendly. Her panty stayed on after 4 songs (or 5 according to her). I had very good time with her as I am after looks not mileage.

Both dancers above are recommended for good time and great looks. Other dancers that I recognized were Cali, Mercedes and Gia.

Unfortunately I had a good afternoon that dance bars cannot match the mileage so now I am not sure I am going to stay away from strip bars for long. It was a reminder how much fun it is. Expensive but fun/

Regarding the miscounts, don't be too hard on those who do gentlemen. Note that dance prices have not changed since 2001 but housing prices tripled and grocery prices up by 50% in the last 3 years alone. Dancers have to pay rents and buy grocery too.. I have on occasion asked a dancer if she knows how to count as in 1 2 3 not 1 2 4 before making thr trip to the CR. That has helped to clear the air so to speak. But I often keep the count out loud with mutual consent as we progress, helps as well. Use to love going with Gabrielle (long retired) she always asked if I wanted another one and added correctly. Needless to say, she got a lot of business from me and I loved every second with her

I went to university and then post graduate. I am paid very well. I know that this form of entertainment is hard on the ladies and not really a career move, but it is for the most part their choice. After 4 hours work, I don't go home with the cash that some of these girls do. And the can of worms is now open for discussion.

I count aloud as the songs progress, in some cases, the dancer join in the counting game over a good banter, this always assures there are no shenanigans.

That is why whenever I go to the annuity bar I only get dances from Feist. She always counts properly.

But more seriously, I always ask for the Nth dance and at least at in Hamilton I've never been bent over.
OTOH there are times I've lost tract and over counted myself [those songs seem to go on forever and senility I guess] and I've been corrected when they could have let the error stand. I've never been corrected the other way.

Ah senility, it ain't so bad, at least I always get to meet new people.

Only the sharks use the song count to screw people over, the party girls stopping in Ottawa on their way between Montreal and Toronto and that kind of thing. The ones grinding it out know you make a lot more money in the long run by building up regular clients. There's not as many of those as there used to be though, since you can make better money doing other things.

Regardless, I never go back to a stripper who tries to rip me off on the song count.
