I would argue that Trump did a really good job of the "worked shoot" style of cutting a promo.

You could also just argue that he knew how to cut a promo and make it entertaining, while the others were bad on the mic.
The fact he always used the same catch phrases and call and response argues against him even trying to make it a shoot or even pretend it was a worked shoot, he just knew how to cut a promo and they didn't.
Being good on the stick is an art form, not just in wrestling.
I'd argue that he's a really horrid public speaker except that he kept at it and learned to repeat the lines that people cheered for.
He can't pace a speech, build to a conclusion or even do anything but keep yelling at the same clouds (Hillary, 2016, immigrants, the big lie...) over and over.
I think if any of his base actually were allowed to have a conversation with them they'd realize he's the moron at the party that just drones on and on about himself and that time he lost the election.

So you agree with me and are just being nit picky. Got it.
Nice try.
We agree that Trump's ability to be more entertaining on the campaign trail, and thereby break through to people who otherwise would tune him out, was important.
We disagree that his "Iraq was a mistake" was his breakthrough moment in the first debate (mostly because it didn't happen there) and that military contractors were afraid of him because of that (as opposed to they - like so many people - were afraid of him because he was an unpredictable egotist and hothead with a brain like a rotting pumpkin).
Were there people who thought he was anti war or anti military? I'm sure there were. Stupid people will always be with us. Pretending that was his primary appeal and how he became the front runner is just idiocy.

The polling on why people liked him said otherwise. It was a major reason and also fell under the "sick of Washington Insiders" category.

The contractors were afraid enough to back Ted Cruz. Nuff said.

So at this point it looks like the Dems have no plan, and will do exactly nothing but read a poem and fundraise off this. The level of incompetence is astounding.

The world didn't come to an end after all.
How would you know? You are not effected by this? You are not a woman. To some, the world did end. Their world did.

Your penis privilege is showing BDG🙃

That was the point. LOL.

I even called him my pet name. It is just me playing with him based on our past posts to each other.

Sorry you didn’t get the joke, but thanks for ruining it.

Righties have a knack for ruining many many things.
Lol

reading back, my first paragraph was serious of course.

My penis comment was just a playful jab for him to reply something about my pussy privilege. It is just the banter of the board, I knew he would get it by the BDG pet name but I should have added an emoji there to be clear what was serious and what was just playful banter, so I will edit.
