Leafs planning to be at Nathan Phillips on Sunday afternoon.

Last time they took the TTC from the arena to the square. Let's hope they don't get assaulted if they take the TTC again this time.

Although I really think Mathews is an incredible talent, I would bet on him to walk when he becomes a free agent. Tavares bleeds blue he will take a salary cut and stay.
Marner is the franchise player I would keep.
I would not be surprised or disappointed to see Mathews traded

Right now the Leafs are stuck in the "friend zone". They need to do a blockbuster trade like the Raptors (Leonard) and Jays (Carter, Alomar) did.

There's an old Irish proverb that goes like this:
"Sticking with the same old team and hoping to get better results."

Even the Habs made the CUP finals and got cheated because Bettman always want an American team to win and the Bolts had sometime like a $95mm (more or less) payroll.

Get serious, if anybody cheated over the years it was the Habs...they always got the breaks from referees, the NHL, the Hall of Fame.

The Habs made the finals because of Carey Price. Never underestimate the power of a hot goaltender. The Blues won a cup with an unstoppable Binnington

Marner fakes wrist shot then dishes off to JT and JT finishes off with a wicked backhand. Willy was expecting a one timer too.

Marner wants to be the Leafs top point getter hence the pass to Tavares rather than Nylander.
To Nylander was the better play there. Set up for the one timer with goalie having to move to his right.
Tavares had to flip the puck over the shoulder with a backhand.

Leafs played like shit tonight. They must have lost 80-90% of the puck battles or getting to a loose puck first. You'd think that they'd have placed a higher priority on protecting Woll. There were uncovered Bluejackets all over the placed even though they're supposed to be CBJs.

I stopped watching after the second period. I’m getting ready for another quick playoff exit. I can’t say what causes me more psychological trauma my golf game or watching the Leafs fall apart

They lack the killer instinct. They've lost about 9 or 10 series clinching games and won none during the Matthews era.

The 1967 Stanley Cup champs, Toronto Maple Leafs, are at Nathan Phillips as we speak.

We need a new GM who will put more emphasis on hiring defensemen rather than just on the offensive players.
Sheldon Keefe is not the most suitable head coach for the Leafs. Get a new one.

An AHL team like Columbus can beat a superior NHL anytime if they just work harder, last night was a good example.
