A good player, gets in on his 6th try with 76.3% of the vote, he needed 75%...a career .281 hitter with 319 HRs but 8 gold gloves.

Well he was not really a top flight 3rd bagger now was he? Thus the move to first. Where he has excelled I might add.
Vladdy's problem will be longevity at that playing weight.

In 2009, the All Star game was played in St Louis. Albert Pujols, Jr, around 5 years old at the time, saw Scott Rolen in the clubhouse before the game, and said "What are YOU doing HERE?".

IMO, the Rock and Roll Hall of fame is more significant than baseball's.

I disagree shack, how legit can the RNR HOF when they allow Bon Hornswoggle Jovi in but not Jethro Tull? One band re-invented English Folk music, the other is strictly a fake money band, the product of saturation marketing. Why did Bongiovi suck Howard Stern's cock to get him to induct his band, is it because none of his peers would do it. Is Right Said Fred in the HOF, they never stole anyone else's music.

Having said that, Bon Jovi has sold more records, has sold more concert tickets, has more fans and is more popular...
What about the Guess Who not being in?
They were internationally insignificant (aside from American Woman and maybe These Eyes). They were a big deal here because they were a phenomenon being one of the 1st Canadian bands to have an international hit. 2 hits is not enough to get into the HOF.
IV, there are these kinds of debates in every HOF about inequities. Why is this guy in the BBHOF but not that guy? Why is this band in but not that band?
In the meantime, music has an impact on more people's lives than baseball. That's why I said that it's HOF is more significant.
When I went, I saw Garth Hudson's (from The Band) organ. What a beast it was.
