It continues to astound me how people feel unsafe at how they interpret what Dr. Peterson is saying.

As a clinical psychologist he is just declaring what the clinical data is stating without any political bias.
Like the clinical data showing that masturbation is bad?
Did you stop wanking after you saw it?

I've said this before. He is going to drag them along on a very bumpy road. Let's see if they have the stones for this.

His resources are immense. It's believed he's receiving behind the scenes support from people with deep pockets and reach. They realize what is at stake here. This isn't about his license at all.

This could very well be the hill he is prepared to die on to protect free speech from the Marxist leaning horde that is slowly proliferating in our learning institutions and governing bodies. Time to expose these parasites for who they are.
Like Alex Jones?

If your definition of "Marxists" is "people who piss me off", I guess.

But most educated people define "Marxists" as people who believe in Marx and Marxist doctrine. I'm pretty sure those psychologists are pretty firmly into the profit motive and private enterprise. So they're not "Marxists", are they?
Having views is one thing, forcing people to accept them is another.

You can't be that naive as to think that Marxists are not about money.

They are as corrupt as can be.

It's all about money.

They're just people you don't like and calling them "Marxists" makes you feel more important and intelligent than calling them "assholes". Even if it's wrong.

What you say to that?
What I do not like is that they are trying to control and block free speech.

It's a very popular activity among the woke.

The rules and codes are often rather vague and open to interpretation... it's at the discretion of the committees how they apply the professional conduct codes and how they pursue those standards.

You may believe that you're following the rules and a committee may see it otherwise and when you're dealing with controversial ideas there is more room for error and/or abuse of power.
His case is far different from someone who believed they were following professional standards being informed they weren't and addressing the problem. Instead of listening to the opinions of the council, he's just using this for publicity and fundraising.

So, his criticism of Sports Illustrated is fat shaming?

He wasn't criticizing the model, he was criticizing the magazine for their choices.

That's a stretch... Call the constables!
Someone did and the 'constables' found him violating the standards.

I find it interesting that you're defending the guy while also admitting you don't know what he's been posting.

But they're not Marxists, are they? They don't go around saying that all property should be nationalized and shared with the poor? There's nothing about being a senior psychologist that is about sharing property with the poor. It's a totally different area, right?

How are they trying to block free speech? All they're trying to do is enforce professional standards?

How are they "Marxists"? They're elected officials? Doc Pee could run for office himself on a platform that all controls on professional public speech be rescinded, couldn't he?

It would probably make Ontario the only jurisdiction in North America or Europe which didn't have this controls, wouldn't it? But theoretically Doc Pee could do exactly that, couldn't he?

The fact that he doesn't even try suggests that he knows that the other psychologists wouldn't support that, doesn't it?

Please answer my questions.

Lets see, a social media whore vs. a provincial organization established in law and with a big war chest of their own. Simple fact is the Peterson will do what he thinks will make him money while the CPO will do what they see as in the best interest of the profession.

It's kind of interesting with Trudeau. Rebel News and True North were the only two media outlets, who covered the Peterson protest in front of the CPO last week....
Yes, most news organizations cover real news, not fundraising meet ups.

p.s. Love your conspiracy theory about Trudeau controlling the media.

So if we got rid of the 'Marxist' board of psychology, then I assume anyone could call themselves a psychologist.
So you could get pederasts and sadists posing as psychologists because otherwise is banning 'free speech'.
Might as well as get rid of the boards who license doctors and dentists, then you can get cheap dentists who are willing to use silver, horse dewormer and injected disinfectants to fix your cavities.

I'll take a flyer here and say he has more academic credentials than those who are sitting in judgement on the CPO.
