2-0 Portugal

I hate watching my CTV/TSN live TV broadcast because it's poor quality compared to the FOX network. However, FOX is lagging by 20 to 30 seconds. Mmm, still debating to get a VPN and watch in 4K on BBC iplayer?
Go for IPTV. No time lag and you can choose the language of broadcast choice.

I predicted that upset. I should have placed a bet.
I think you would have won only if you specifically bet the result of the game on penalty kicks, not score.

Somebody in this thread said there is about a full minute in lagging. I've read that in other forums as well vs Live TV broadcast.
Depends on the IPTV service and also which channel you're watching. My feed is dead on.

Ms Beckie is like a ray of sunshine on an overcast morning, black does not become her.

Portugal are frightening, CR7 and Leao are on the bench, yet they can still score at will. The Dutch have the strongest defense in this WC, they better not choke. I'm expecting them to do the Italian Job on Argentina on Friday.

Saddest thing was when I watched Canada vs Croatia on a big theatre screen at the CINEPLEX. TSN was showing it in 720p on a mofo huge screen. Two thumbs down they couldn't show it 4K on that monster screen.

Generally all the streams including that of IPTV lags behind by at least a minute. one advantage of IPTV is that even if you have not set your PVR, you can always go back up to 24 hours on the schedule and catch up from there as the recordings are saved for that period of time.

Are any of these in 4K? Thanks in advance!

My Quarterfinal picks are:

Netherlands, Brazil, France, Portugal (depending on whether Mbappe is injured. If he's out then I pick England)

Spain kept going at them, they deserved to win, they had the ball maybe 85% of the time. I'm surprised they missed penalties, those 2 morocco goals at the center were smart and goalie did a great job. We'll see what happens when they play against Portugal. I can't see the Swiss win against Portugal, but with all these upsets, who knows?
77% possession, 1000+ passes, 90% pass accuracy, zero goals...

Tiki taka may be pretty but it's useless, either that or Morocco has a powerful witch doctor among their fans in the stands.

Apparently Mbappe has trained indoors and should be fit to start against England.
I agree with the above picks except that I think that instead of The Netherlands, it is Argentina who will be in the quarterfinals.

I thought that the Spanish goalie was atrocious on the penalties. He committed his moves way before the shooter did. He stopped the only shot that he didn't telegraph his move. The Moroccan goalie held his ground to the last split second much better.

Morrocco deserved the win. They weren't the favorites but they gave it their everything. Spain was just sloppy.
I know they weren't the favorites and they worked very hard, but Spain had the ball all the time, they stole it from Morocco. But that's how it is.

Shit happens that way, Morocco won on penalties, they defended well, but Spain owned the ball. They could score, but they dominated.

The Moroccan goalie was way better, he faked going to one side and then went to the other side. Players need to practice shooting higher rather than ground level.
