Mexico bottled it, they were creating turnovers and getting to loose balls and for wot? They allowed the Albiceleste back into the match.

Sure they could, if they star winning some games
Dane you hurt my feelings.

Qatar is the first country to be eliminated. And it is the quickest host to be eliminated in the 92-year history of the WC. All those bribery millions and the billions spent building white elephant stadiums. Poof. Down the toilet. They couldnt care less though. The huge cuts from the WC contracts justify this colossal waste.

It's hard to score so better take advantage of chances. After woeful penalty by Davies cost Canada, Saudi Arabia repeated the tragedy with another weak on the ground penalty against Poland. It would have tied the game. As it is, Lewandowski capitalized on an abysmal defensive give away to make the score 2-0. It was Lewandowski's first ever WC goal.

That rumour about the car has been mentioned as wrong by the players.
It wasnt a rumour. The promise was made but put on nice when the manager said it was a distraction because they had two more matches to play. They promptly lost against Poland, proving the manager right

The English are behind with the times, trying to be woke, the US was dealing with that a few years ago and are over it. .

England’s players took a knee before playing while the US remained standing

Members of England's men's soccer team took a knee in protest prior to the start of its World Cup match against the United States.

England's players also took a knee for several seconds prior to its match against Iran on Nov. 21.

According to the AS sports news website, at least three members of the team were demonstrating against discrimination and racism. The players were also believed to be making a statement about "inclusivity."

England coach Gareth Southgate previously mentioned that his players would be taking a stance in Qatar.

"We feel we should," Southgate said following the Iran match. "We think it's a strong statement that will go around the world, especially for young people, that is important."

Meanwhile, as Iran's players took the field for their match against England, players remained silent as the country's anthem was played in an apparent show of support for protesters in their home country.

Some players were seen making thumbs-down gestures as well, according to Reuters.

A former member of Iran's national soccer team was arrested earlier this week for criticizing the Iranian government.

Being against discrimination never gets old.

Can’t wait to see the beating put on Canada on Sunday.
Stupid coach has fired up Croatia quite nicely.

Good for England to take the knee. They do so at their Premier League games. This should be no different!!
It's highly hypocritical, London has been the laundromat for despots for decades. Now due to Brexit, Mohammed bin Salman gets to own a club. They can take a knee all they want, it's an empty gesture.

Dane cheer up, remember your neighbours to the east aren't in Qatar. Not even The Great Zlatanissimo could work his magic to get Sweden qualified. And lets not even start on Norway. Currently the two most exciting players (Haaland, Kravatskhelia) sit at home and rest.

Costa Rica was left for dead when they were thumped 7-0 by Spain. And for long stretches against Japan today, it looked like they were in for another lashing. Then they rose from the dead and boom 1-0 against Japan. Unreal. That's why you play the game
