Xi Dresses Down Trudeau At G20

As for the leader of China, President Xi Jinping, here is an article of all the other leaders who had meetings with him Bali.

Trudeau spoke to Xi twice at Bali. This recorded second meeting is causing a minor stir, but really all for the wrong reasons.

For example, the new leader of Italy, the quasi-facist, she bluntly told China and Xi that Italy wants to sell more stuff to China, and still want to talk about Western values. The Chinese acknowledged that, and invited her to a state visit, which she graciously accepted.

The leader of France got a 43 minute session with China's leader, drumming up more business.

Biden and Xi meeting lasted 3.5 hours.

That is what leaders should be doing in a diplomatic setting like this.

But our leader, had two meetings, all about nothing.

What gives!?

Then, in the news today, Xi will next met with Adren of New Zealand, and hold a mini-summit with the Japanese leader.

Notice that all of the true friends Canada thinks it has in the world, all those other Western democratic countries are trying to get closer to China, and not distance themselves.

But here is Trudeau with the puck on a solo rush.

Canada is not on the same page as the West.

It is kind of pathetic.

Seems so utterly clueless?

What has gotten to them in Ottawa? Did they think that trucker thing was some kind of CCP plot? That must be influencing their thinking.

If Canada wants to downgrade its China relationship, then Canada should downgrade that China relationship, that is a sovereign right to do so.

No need to go half way around the world for a couple of short meetings to do that.

What clowns.

:p

This is the part that bothers me.

Trudeau is leader of this country, where most people in this thread are citizens paying taxes to the government.

Here is the leader of the country, going half way around the world, funded by the government, to have a one minute conversation with some other guy. One minute.
This led me to think the reason Trudeau opted out of attending COP27
is that he knew he would have to carry conversation way longer than
1 min with other world climate leaders. That's a lot more challenging
to him than meeting with Xi.

What the hell is that?

It was a G20 meeting comprising of world leaders. What do you expect Trudeau to do? Join in via Zoom?

If you don't like Canada :

GET THE FUCK OUT!
Such a pathetic argument. Apparently you're not allowed to voice criticism or argue for positive change within the country you live in?
And so hypocritical too, since the people who say dumb shit like that turn around and do exactly the same thing when their guy isn't in power.

Bottom line: Canada is not in a (strong) position to lecture other countries on treatment of indigenous people.
Far stronger than China. As far as I know, we don't have any concentration camps running at this time.

You think that one minute was the only reason they were there?

the issue with trudeau is that he is simply not taken seriously anywhere. someone like xi would never regard him as an equal. xi climbed the party rank for 40 years, working in all sorts positions, while trudeau did a few years as an MP. I am not saying that xi's arrogance is well-founded, but simply that trudeau's lack of credentials makes it quite difficult for him to get the respect he deserves.

Then explain to me real slow, what exactly was Trudeau doing at Bali.

What exactly did he or the Canadian contingent accomplish.

You can even include what was the most important meeting Trudeau or any official Canadian representative had there in Bali.

How do you explain the fact that not a single Muslim country in this world has complained to China about these alleged camps housing Muslims.
