I don't think China is populated by angels, far from it. But I cannot help question why something is evil when done by China, but charitable when done by USA.

I do not know of a reference. But it seems to be true that
by comparison the U.S. is loathed way more than China is
liked in the Muslim world.
We’ll see. China is spending a great deal of money on the Silk Road initiative. They are going to expect something in return for their investment. China is run by a bunch of thugs and criminals…once they start leaning on developing countries for a return on their investment we’ll see how beloved these pricks wind up being.

I expect countries big on human rights would not be
bought by China. Sounds like those dinky African countries
would not have advocated human rights in China with or
without its $$$.
Those "dinky" African countries have been exploited for centuries by western colonization. It would be impossible for China not to do better.
