I can see France getting through the group stage, Tunisia and Australia are not strong sides at all. However, they will falter early in the knockout round because they have no midfield due to key injures to Pogba and Kante.

Told you each WC has some upsets ;)

France needed a happy and strong Paul Pogba but first and foremost Kante... Mbappe cannot win it alone.

My other upset are Spain. Japan will surprise them.

Ecuador is the Canada of south america for this WC. Except they have a much easier group.
I like Japan too but I think they will upset the Germans, not the Spaniards.

I think both Spain and France will make it to the knockout rounds.

France can be beat, though. Denmark routinely beats them. I think Pogba is out.

I don't care who advances and who doesn't, as long as Canada's in it I'll pay attention.

Forza Canada! Fikayo Tomori should be lining up with Atiba Hutchinson. To quote Big Jim McBob, "Southgate done shaft him real good".

I'll be at All Star Cafe for Canada vs Belgium.

Both Pogba and Kante are out yes...

Denmark could make it far and i think they will.

I want canada to show some grits and learn...I want European team to take a look at Kone, Jonhston and Miller. 4 years of European football will make us stronger in 2026.

This WC i want Messi to win it. This phenomenon should win one to mark his name as the most skillful player of all time!

This is where you and I differ jalimon.

Yes Messi has the skills, he's also a money grubbing cockroach who deserves nothing. Their defense is not as strong as it could be, German Pezzella probably wouldn't be included in Italy's defensive roster.

I am with Jalimon. Messi deserves much for his skills on the pitch.

Tomorrow (Thursday) starting at 8:30 AM Canada take on Japan in a warmup friendly game in Qatar.
It is only being broadcast on FuboTV. Will be an interesting match to see how Canada matches up to the World Cup Qualifiers.
Very likely that both teams will not start with their best players, but they will likely bring them on as substitutes.

England will win the World Cup and Italy will repeat as Euro Champs. Depends if Ac Milan bring back Lorenzo Colombo for the CL, the kid has a cannon for a left foot. Haaland was already in the CL at his age.

So the Leafs will win the cup too. I'm predicting Argentina.

odds for winning group d:
  • France -240
  • Denmark +240
  • Australia +1800
  • Tunisia +1800
If Denmark comes in as #2, they will meet the winner of group C - Argentina in the next game.

I would rather bet on the 1st and 2nd forecast. Denmark 1st and France 2nd was at +355 a few days ago.

Nkunku just got injured in training yesterday so France is now without him, Pogba, Kante and Kimpembe.

Varane might not play the 1st match. Also Denmark beat them twice in the last 6 months in the Nations league cup(1-2, 2-0).

Japan just scored on Canada in the warm-up match at the 9 minutes mark in Qatar. Does anyone have a free streaming link? Thanks in advance!
