Umm nope, you are wrong there sir.. lol.. I am approached every day by men.. at least once a day in my small town 😁 There are dating sites now geared to bbw's.
I believe they said that 40% of the population (will be 50% in the next 5 years apparently) is considered obese.
Yes, part of the blame is on the ppl for eating shit food. The other part of the blame falls on the companies that put addictive substances in their foods and the cost of good food. For example, here in Ontario, I just saw a news clip saying that ppl on social assistance are having to live on carbs - rice, potatoes, bread, etc.. because they don't have enough money to buy veggies and fruits. Now I'm sure that doesn't fall on everyone.

All you have to do it look back to the 1970's.. everyone was thin.. then our food production changed.. and wham.. lots of ppl gained weight. We cannot honestly sit here and say that the obesity crisis began simply because all of the sudden hundreds of thousands of ppl decided to gain weight - that would be silly.

Blame all you want. I wasn't fat in the 60's nor now. So Wham! I didn't gain weight. I am not a dietician. Just an average Joe. Our food production didn't really change. Potatoes are actually good for you and won't make you gain weight. Cabbage isn't expensive. I work with a guy about my age who has a son around 16. Kid won't eat anything but fast food. MacDonalds and Burger King. He and dad eat there on an almost daily basis. So if the whole supply of food has changed to the point where the general population is the victim of their diet, why is it that I can to to a fruit and veggie store and see all kinds of fresh greens, broccoli, cauliflower, bok choi, beets and on and on without ever having to eat the same vegetables every week? Lots of choices out there. There is an acceptance about normalizing obesity, claiming that the consumers are the hapless victims and have no choice. I disagree.

If true, that's a tragedy.

Someone posted a thread here to show "average" women and it's chock full of obese women. It's sad that "average" now means obese.

Despite this, nobody wants to be fat. The body positivity movement is a sham and it's failed to convince people that obesity is attractive. It certainly isn't healthy either.

There's a theory that bears some merit that things start to change when Ancel Keys comes out with his diet heart hypothesis. That being that a Mediterranean-style diet low in animal fat protected against heart disease and that a diet high in animal fats led to heart disease.

''Keys was able to launch his ‘diet heart’ hypothesis because there was little science available in the 1950s that could explain the near-epidemic of heart attacks among middle-aged Americans. He presented his “seven countries study” displaying a clear association between eating greater amounts of saturated fats and deaths due to heart disease. The seven countries were the US, Japan, Yugoslavia, Netherlands, Italy, Greece and Finland. But as Teicholz has shown, the method behind the study was seriously flawed.''

You missed part of the point. Those in low income households can’t afford the fruits and veg. A bag of rice for $5 feeds a lot more then $5 of fruit.

So while I agree with what you wrote, you need to acknowledge the other side as well. Something needs to be done about the price of crap food vrs healthy food. That is a major component.

Not so much in Canada, but in the USA it can be cheaper to go out for fast food than it is to buy groceries.

You think people become obese from eating rice?

Amazing how the Chinese in China are all so lean on their steady diet of the stuff.

I just bought a cauliflower for about $2.00 today. Couple of potatoes $1.79 or something. expensive I admit, but you can actually buy large bags of potatoes for less than a couple of single ones at some places. Cabbage around $3.00. I am single so I don't have other mouths to feed, but I don't think a week's supply of basic veggies and some inexpensive cuts of meat are out of the reach of most people. Maybe I am wrong. My diet is sort of meat and 2 veg. I make bean, lentil, oat and barley stews in a big pot and freeze portions in yogurt containers. I add a bunch of kale $3.00 , a couple of onions and a couple of those " golden " beets, or whatever they are called. That meal if it were to be eaten by a family would last a couple of meals for 4 people at a cost of less than $12.00. around $1.50 each person 2 meals, When I thaw a portion out, I stir fry a single bok choi in a wok, with a teaspoon of olive oil and water. Add some wholewheat bread and butter to go with it.
However I will cede the floor to those who know better.

As a general rule, for the majority of hobbyists I've known fat and sloppy falls pretty low on the scale of attractiveness and desirability. Male/female alike. The male side generally has an easier road as they are paying for a service, so their looks and shape are largely inconsequential. Fat/sloppy service providers definitely fall into the huge minority of desirable options across the industry and have a tougher road. While some have carved out business based on niche predilections, for most it's a much harder sell and potential for revenue generation is much lower. When taken as a whole against all the more traditionally attractive options available a very substantial majority of Terb members typically look for skinny, fit, or athletic as the primary target. 22 years of reviews on this board provides pretty clear empirical evidence to that effect. For most guys paying for a fantasy experience, that experience is with a highly attractive partner and that traditional norm of attractiveness trends mostly to the thin end of the spectrum. For most guys, it's almost a basic instinct to seek out 36-24-36
Of course everybody has their preferences, but instead of just saying that lots of guys want their perception of an ideal woman (perfectly reasonable), You had to resort to body shaming (equating BBW with "sloppy"). Newsflash: Stereotypes suck, regardless of where they're directed. It's easy to use statistics to denigrate someone, but that leaves out the systemic factors that drive the statistics.

I guess BBW can mean different sizes for diff people. For example, the thing that's in now is 'thick' women. I believe those are women who have big breasts, bug butts and thighs.
I agree, no one should be upset towards either side, what turns on one guy may not turn on the next.
As for myself, I just noticed that not too many bbw escorts post or advertise on TERB much at all. I also saw some post or something about a guy who did a review on a girl or something and he was bashed about it because she was a big girl. I was curious on how the dynamics have changed.
The acronym actually stands for "Big Beautiful Woman", which is subjective, but widely accepted to mean full-figured in more than one part of her body. It's a bit of a euphemism, I've seen "BHM" for men, but it seems to have been replaced by "dad bod".

There was a fun spa called Josephine's on Browns Line and Silhouette in Mississauga. I would sometimes spa hop in Vaughan and sometimes in Mississauga between Silhouette and Ambrosia. Elite and Alden were not in my rotation. I also would pop into Alpha, Muse and Flirt.
Josephine's was great. There was one hot brunette who let me take full advantage of my username on the nude reverse, then more than thanked me at the end. Good times !
