NATO only admitted that they were never gonna allow Ukraine to join after the war started. Russia sought assurances that they would not be allowed to join but the US and NATO refused to give these. So the destruction of Ukraine could have been avoided, but ah well, too late now. Essentially NATO lied to Russia and Ukraine, and a nation has been devastated because of this lie. As I said, the US really wanted this war.

Well Ukraine is probably lying. They DID surround one Russian held town, but that town has been reinforced by air and now the UAF surrounding it are being hammered by airpower and guns.
And i will repeat myself, only time will tell, I personaly dont trust Russian or western media, thruth is usually somwhere in between.

Ukranian leaderahip, knew all to well what they were draging their people in to, and should bear full consequences of their actions, I just fel sorry for the average Joe Uki that is dying for no good reason.

The counteroffensive to retake the Crimea has now been underway for 8 years, and still no progress. Don't expect this current Ukrainian counteroffensive to take any less time.

You must believe that all the pictures and photos of Ukrainian soldiers in occupied towns, village and cities are photo shopped or CGI.

I openly support Russia in this endevour, since they are i the right here, Ukraine as it is today is nothing but an artificial creation of the by gone years of communisam just as many other european countries are, and or were,and Ukis playing victims and crying in order to beg for more money that politicians will steal and ppl will never see is just sickening, and it makes my stomack turn.
My beleif is that there are no winners in this war and that it is very sad that two brotherly cultures are fighting eachother while NATO celebrates every dead Russian or Ukranian, they dont care much, you are same to them as you are to me.

Ukraine has actually had a long history as a separate culture. West of the Dnipro, Ukraine has always had its own language, history and culture. East of the Dnipro, Ukrainians and Russians settled the area together and intermingled.
But the idea that Ukraine is an artificial state that was created as a plaything of NATO is totally wrong.

I also believe that Ukraine could never have retaken either Donbass or Crimea before Putin fool-assedly invaded last February. But now everything is up for grabs again. Ukraine is fully mobilized and equipped by NATO; Russia is neither and is relying on a badly trained, led and equipped army. Putin has now also escalated into an economic attack on Europe with his O&G embargo. This is simply foolishness on his part. He is likely to lose any prolonged struggle.
Russia has a GDP slightly smaller than Canada's. Europe and the USA BOTH individually have GDP's 10 times the size of Canada's. By making the conflict economic and existential, Putin has ensured that Russia will lose and he will eventually be deposed, if not murdered.
It's just a matter of watching as events play out over the next year or two.
Thankfully the upstanding Russians were so into democracy that they invaded crimea first to make sure that people there had the chance to vote.
And I'm sure you can post the 'later' report and show where those claims are supported.
Of course governments lying is part of conflict. Would be nice to see you apply that critical eye to Russian statements as well.
