Who are these people, 6-pac?

In 2014, numerous people in Donbass rejected Kyiv and chose to secede in the hope that they would be accepted as part of Russia. There was also some disruption in other Russian-speaking areas - such as Kharkiv and Odessa - where groups of anti Kyiv separatists indicated that they wished to remain closely aligned with Moscow.

By 2022, these elements had disappeared. Life in Ukraine politically and economically was far better than in Russia and discontent had largely ended.
You must be high bro

So are you in favor of the US and Canada breaking up as well, then?
You are comparing apples and oranges, and since you asked ideally we should all live in the same country called planet Earth, i dont care for flags alegences, rases and nationalisam, and dont care if it is USA, Russia or Kazahstan that brings us all together, all I am saying Is that in this war Russia is i the right and sisnt have mich choice but to do what it is doing right now.

Make of this whatever you want, if ppl had brains they aould not care about the color of the piece of cloth hanging off a courthouse, but should care about their lived ones and quality of life.....

I know now ukis will be bla bla bla russians are bad and we are all saints, like just give up your whining already..

This could have been avoided...if Mikhail Gorbachev remained in power.

Unfortunately he was no Peter the Great, the Stalinists would not allow him to modernize Russia. Yeltsin initially supported him but after the capitulation, he felt he couldn't be trusted. Two years later he crushed the Stalinists...then turned into a debauched drunk.

Gorbachev wasn't popular amongst Russians. Putin is. Stalin was. Give the people what they want I guess.

You want one world government and you don't care who and how it is accomplished?

How were they "in the right"?
Even if you believe NATO was encircling them or trying to break Russia apart, you just said you didn't care if the USA took over so you should be rooting for Russia to just let it happen and be taken over, shouldn't you?

You almost have a point here, and I agree with part of your statement, I dont care If US takes Russia, but that still dont change the fact that Russia ia in the right here, and that the qorld is mich better off with Russian type of colonialisam, that is based on mutual respect and equal development of terutories, compared to the American one of exploitation and indebted poverty.

Examples

Soviet supported middle east, as opposed to American run south america.

Not to mention post soviet American controled middle east.

You can also compare soviet controled Ukraine and hungary to, American controled Brasil, colombia etc.

You haven't explained it.

There is no functional difference between Russian colonialism and the colonialism of the other European empires other than Russia didn't lose all of its colonies post WWII.

Russia is Russia, same as USA is USA, you cant call constitutional state colonies.

Colonies are proxy countries, that are directly or indirectly ruled through financial or political control.

So yes US has in that sense colonized entire south america and parts of Asia pacific.

Same as Sovirt Union had the same influence over Warsaw pact and middle east post WWII.

Other European empires lost the war, as Russia even with suffering major defeats survived.

To summarise, the modern western world is bothing but a speck of duat on the qorld stage that currently controls the flow of technology and resources around the globe, and if Russia succedes in organizing the rest of the planet, well lets just say it I understand why the colective west is scared shitless, and wants to destroy it at any cost.

One key difference: the way USSR "colonised" the Eastern Europe included large military presence and direct use of military force to prevent any changes (e.g., Prague 1968). And all Eastern Europe countries now are happy to stay away from Russia as far as possible regardless of how much money Russia is willing to give them.
