The mistake of CNN+ was to make it a Premium Channel with an additional contribution to it. Not many Americans want to subscribe to paying a Premium towards a New Media. If it was towards Exclusive Films and TV Series, then that would have been a different matter altogether.

Nothing was "forced on the public"!!

I glance at the CNN app. But I cut my cable cord a few years ago. So really its clips on youtube, and when other commentators use the clips.

Hilarious, as practically everyone has a cell phone and free wifi including charging stations if you are stuck at the airport. No one if forcing you to watch the few random TV screens.
But if pubs prefer to have CNN as one of its channel, does not mean that you have to watch it there as most people try to socialize rather than watch TV, unless there is a game for the ardent supporters!!

You do realize you may have survived, or prevented long covid by being vaccinated right? It was never about outright prevention(although they can do that) but lessening severity.

The Spanish Flu killed 50 million estimated(bets it was higher) in few years in a much lower population density. And variations still kill today.

Be thankful science has advanced in this.
