Oh boy.. you are speaking off the warshaw pact. It was the start. And yes they knew better that expanding to Baltic states etc will create problems.. they did anyways and if there was no eastern Ukraine situation they would have scooped Ukraine in a heartbeat. Don’t pick at words”full speed” or not. The OP said
NATO wasn’t Gona invade Russia.. and I replied it was not about the invasion ,but expansion
You brought full speed into this, not me.
From what you are saying, NATO not disbanding in 1991 guaranteed that Russia would invade Ukraine, am I understanding that correctly?
Which size of NATO did it have to codify?
What other parts of the NATO treaty did it have to rewrite to appease Russia?
I'm just trying to figure out what you think the actual history of security alliances in Europe is?

I am not "picking Russia" its not about loyalty. Its about common sense. All powerful nations have imperialist tendencies. We either find a way to accomodate or defeat them in war. We cannot have security without some mutual agreement with russia. War with russia is not a viable option. So what would your choice be ? Mutual agreement and pragmatism or death. The only reason i appear pro russian is you are so vehemently anti russian you cannot be rational or impartial.
Putin will be out in a month or two.
Then you'll have to move on to defending China as your pet imperialist counter to the US.

So now you are cheering the ukraine military attacking their own cities with US weapons? Putin will still be there when biden scholtz bojo are gone. Even if it was a warehouse, one successful rocket strike is immaterial to the carnage being inflicted on the ukraine military.

I'm cheering for Ukraine starting to push Russia out of their country.
I'm cheering for imperialism being rebuffed.

You are deliberately distorting truth, interesting... looks like you are a Putin propaganda artist... Yes, Ukraine is attacking its own cities, but it is attacking the cities occupied by the fascist enemy and Ukraine is attacking precisely the enemy's military bases in those cities.
You are saying Putin will still be there for a long time... So shall we say "Heil Putin"??

Thats what you THINK you are cheering for. But all you are cheering for is more Ukrainians dying for NOTHING. I really cannot understand why you cannot logically grasp this.

Why would you cheer for a second Holodomor?
Why would Ukraine accept another Holodomor?
We're already seeing Russia stealing grain, people and children.

I am saying that if there is such a significant agreement both parties have to follow through and not just one.
nato involvement in Ukraine guaranteed the invasion and not what happened in 1991.
understand you think otherwise and that’s cool.everybody is entitled to their own opinion different from mine.
Also to me it’s pretty obvious that all the weapons supply will never make Ukraine win anything but will only lengthen the conflict and create more casualties on both sides. And it is also my opinion. Not just mine by now. Quite a few of American and European publications posted something like that. But there is also off course frankfooter Who believes ukraine is winning something and some”analysts” who try to inspire people about more military aid.. sayin g Ukraine needs “this much more” and they will win… in my opinion it’s a lie. They lost most aid that was already provided for them together with soldiers holding those weapons. They have no chance.
And while everybody is thinking of Ukraine the world is moving towards the recession which seems to be unavoidable by now

Ukraine will win because fortunately Ukraine gets NATO's resources and technology. It's stupid and suicidal to confront NATO's resources and technology since they are not surpassed by any nation as yet... It's only a matter of time when Putin's dictatorship will crumble (it's a story that is very similar to Saddam's with that difference that Putin has more weapons and resources than Saddam but they will soon be exhausted anyways and harsh economic sanctions will remain so Putin will just be forced to give up and Russia will drag out a wretched existence in misery and isolation thereafter like Iran, Cuba or North Korea do).

Sure - a treaty would have to be agreed to by both sides and honoured by both sides.
Like when Russia promised to respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

nato involvement in Ukraine guaranteed the invasion and not what happened in 1991.
But you said that NATO had to not expand. NATO expanded since 1991, so clearly that is where your complaint is.
How many countries is NATO allowed?

understand you think otherwise and that’s cool.everybody is entitled to their own opinion different from mine.
What?
Are you acknowledging that different people have different agendas and opinions?
That seems very strange.
I thought Ukraine wasn't allowed to have its own opinion about what it wants to do if that opinion disagrees with Russia's.

I thought NATO had to amend its treaty because Russia insisted that it had to remove the part where other countries were allowed to join?

So why pick Russia as the one you love the most?

By the way, the news from the last few days has Ukraine using HIMARS to hit Russia ammunition depots all through the occupied territories.

This is forcing Russia to get desperate at home. I doubt Putin can survive this failure.
Might be working, Russian artilery has slowed dramatically.

Ukraine will never push Russia anywhere anymore.
and now.. why don’t you try to be honest to yourself. So what.. Ukraine got new weapon.. why don’t you look back at everything that was happening in Donbas for the last 8 years.. same shit.. Ukraine used the military aid to kill their own all over the east. And trust me that created lots of hate toward its regime through out the whole region. And you don’t care… or try to justify it somehow for yourself. Well on February the 24th locals we’re celebrating with shampain and were waving Russian flags..

The Russian Digest condensed version of a compendium solely sourced from 1000 Russian state approved media propaganda feeds studiously absorbed 24/7 through injection, inhalation, ingestion and impalement by of our very own western democratized, decadence and freedom loving, 'shampain' guzzling Russian motherland transplanted sop.

I doubt that after Putin destroying Mariopol and other towns and then kidnapping a million Ukrainians to send to Russia that the people who supported Putin in Donbas still support him.

That is nonsense and hysteria. Russia is the one trying to facilitate grain shipments. It was Ukraine that cut water off to their own citizens in Crimea.

No at all.

Russia stole grain and shipped it to Syria.
They attacked Ukrainian grain stores and burnt fields that were close to harvest.
And they forcibly moved over 1 million Ukrainians to Russia.

Its Holodomor II that you're pushing.

Thats propaganda People in Donetsk were offered evacuation and many went because they knew Ukraine would attack them, and it did. As for the grain, when you take a country you possess everything. Russia has lots of grain to ship to Syria. It would make sense that it would donate the grain to Syria since sanctions cripple transactions. I have seen videos of Ukrainian helos setting fields on fire. and in war all kinds of things catch fire so I don't buy it. They are even allowing water and power to stay on in Kiev. Something they can easily shut down. I am not saying ukraine will be a model of peace and freedom. It will be a conquered territory and it will take a while to transition to normalcy.

Sure, and some people on this board think 2000 Mules is serious.
You need to look closer at your sources.
Provide some legit links and we can talk about it, but I totally expect it'll make NewsMax look like Reuters.

When Putin is beat into the dirt and starts making nuclear threats again notti will argue that Putin has the right to drop 2 nukes since the US dropped 2 nukes during WW2 and anything less would be racism or whatever.
