She got bail and she fucked up. That's all that's happening here.
Yeah, so they flew her across the country....on a mischief charges. ROTFLMFAO!! Rex Murphy has a wonderfully funny column in the Post on that.
She has the right to be present at her own hearing. What else are they going to do?

This is what you call fucking around and finding out that bail conditions can be enforced. She should have known better, and this has nothing to do with Trudeau, no matter how much you folks want to blame him for her stupidity. The PM did not appoint this judge to the bench in Ottawa, nor did he force Lich to meet up with this dude. Breaking bail conditions is serious, and she broke them. It would be the same thing if you or I did something like this. The fact that she is part of the FreeDumb convoy has nothing really to do with it, except for the fact that she was prohibited from doing anything with that group or anyone that was part of it.
If you were charged with an offence and released on bail, your conditions might be to not drink alcohol or do drugs. It might be not to use a computer or contact people. Now, you might be able to do all of those things on the down low, but having your picture taken with someone you were told to avoid is pretty fucking stupid...She can't say she never saw the dude or spoke with him. Did she think the Crown wouldn't see this or chose to ignore it? I mean, sure, they could have. But at the same time, it became news — the kind that requires action by the justice system. Failing to address it means that anyone could violate their bail conditions without issue.
EDIT: OK, I just read the story in bver_hunter linked from the Star. If the story is true that she was with her counsel at the time, and the interaction was about three seconds....then this might be a little over blown.
