your not understanding this my clients are classified as criminals.....your a criminal seeing escorts how does that make you feel that you could go to jail for simply wanting fun?
My seeing escorts has nothing to do with your tax obligations and the legal requirement to meet them. Report your income, pay your taxes, stop trying to dodge the system, because in the eyes of the system you are no different, and you will be treated no differently from a taxation perspective than any other citizen.

Nope, I just paid the going rate like everyone else and earned a number of post-secondary degrees over a lifetime of continuous learning. And I clearly understand my rights and obligations as a citizen and willingly comply so that I can continue to take advantage of the available benefits the country provides for all those who do.

It is not any worse than it was in years past. In 1957 I graduated from high school and wanted to go to university but my mother was a divorced single mother and could not afford to send me there, however, my brother who was 6 years younger was able to go to university because the province implemented student loans and he went to U of T, got a great job and retired at age 60 with a full pension. Some of the most expensive university tuitions are in the USA, while university education in Denmark is free of you reside there and come from an EU country.
I honestly don't know enough about it to give an opinion if it should be free or not, but it definitely is worse than it was that long ago. Everything is more expensive nowadays including tuition, and surviving off the part-time minimum wage jobs student can come by is a lot less feasible

This is US specific, and I'd take a look at different articles as well, but this might be a bit interesting to see:

do you seriously think I should pay lots when the govt does nothing for my liberty security and safety? next thing you know you'll be saying tax on each inch that enters you
I really hope you're not serious with this reply. Have you actually travelled to see other countries? If not please use google prior to writing things like this. If memory serves me correct Canada is in the top 5 safest contries in the world for 2022. Yes Trudeau is a clown but stating things like this is ludacris.

Very bad in the U.S. It will be like that here eventually.
North America does not believe in building a stable, and upwardly mobile society.
How do you do that?
By providing your citizens with free Universal Health care, and free post secondary education.
Also, by ensuring senior citizens are well taken care so you don't have to worry about shelling out 10,000 a month so they are taken care of.
That way you are not in debt for a good part of you life paying back the gov't bc you are taking care of medical bills, and / or paying for tuition.
There are A LOT of people that mooch, and finesse the shit out of the system; people that are born and raised here all the way to people that are
new immigrants. It's sad those ruin it for those of us that pay taxes for the services we do have.
I am not bleeding heart, "woke" (LOL) left winged liberal, nor am I a right winged greedy corrupt capitalist.
Just someone who envisions a world where things can be done better.
Tick Tock...

In Canada today there is broad financial assistance available for those who cannot fund their education directly, so exceptionally few barriers to access to post-secondary education beyond academic qualification. That said, there is no such thing as a free lunch. I see no reason why post-secondary education should be FREE for anyone. If it is important to you, pursue it, but accept that there is a cost that will have to be paid which is pretty much the same price for any citizen of Canada, with some nuances depending on when you actually live in the country vs. what institution you want to attend.
When I went to college it was almost entirely paid in grants and bursaries, you just need to look and do your research.

Over 86% average in your highschool grades? Grants. First person in your immediate family to attend college? Grants. Indigenous heritage? Bursaries. Low income independent? Bursaries. Have been out of school for 10+ years? Skills Boost Funding.
And so on, the options are plentiful.

So tax payers are paying the salaries' of the professors'?...
We already are since tuition is subsidized by the gov.

Education is a good thing (though I question our society's focus on university being needed for everyone) and I think those that want it should not be put in long-term debt to get it simply because their family isn't loaded.

For the 'back in my day' statements that always come out in these discussions, tuition was low enough that working in the summer and part time during the year would pay for it. No chance with current costs.

As a step toward universal access, I was okay with the previous Liberal government plans at reforming OSAP by allowing grants to low income students and a combination of grants and loans for middle income.

I agree with this opinion on this topic. I am not promoting the guy, he may have his fault but this statement is best suited for the kids I seen leave college after week or 4 months.

Its working for Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, France, and Denmark.
You have no idea how their system works do you?

I used to work for a German company. I asked they co-op student to explain to me their school system. Trust me they start in grade 1. We DON'T Start at all. By grade 6 to 8 they define which type of high school you will go to and in which field you may end up depending how well you did in grade 6-8. Some US states are like this also.

I suggest you do alot of research please.

The Trades school system in this country is worst than a third world country. Why do you think Canada import trades people from overseas?

I tried getting into trades, pure NEPOTISM, CRownism.

My son married a Danish girl and he and his family live in Copenhagen. His children now at school age are taught English from grade 1 and so all young Danes speak fluent English which is the business language. They do have free university tuition and apparently choose their own courses to major in. Denmark is known for the high cost of living, however, in the 4 times I have visited there, I have seen very little poverty as wages are generally higher than in Canada. Another difference is the whole country is controlled by a single government which is always a coalition government unlike the USA where you are either left or right and have 50 jurisdictions in government. The worst thing about Denmark is the weather that I refer to as Dark, Damp, Dreary, Drizzly Denmark.

I don't think she was being malicious in her comment.

The average person doesn't have 250k just laying around in savings, that's all.
The average person has only 250.00 on their accounts. I see the receipts at ATM's, since I seem to be the only person to have decency to throw them out in the garbage when I get there.

That's priceless.

Yes, I think you should pay your income taxes. You need to keep a set of books like the rest of us and pay 40 percent of every dollar you earn, however you earn it.

That's the law.

What is it with people today? Everyone wants everything for free, free education, free drug plans, free dental plans, free daycare. Whatever happened to just looking after yourself and not having to pay higher taxes to look after other peoples problems.
Society is getting lazy from all the handouts. Its easier to beg than to break a sweat.
Just like wild animals, feed them and they forget how to forage for food.
