I don't get these cartoons. Are they trying to make some insightful comments or be funny? If so, I readily admit that they go over my head.
Some are funny - I enjoy them - he is a good artist.

Leafs' record during Matthews tenure.

Your intention to troll Leaf fans with this post during a playoff run is very clear. Perhaps it’s in retaliation to the trolling some Leaf fans did to you in the Canadiens thread but honesty, if you have been watching how Matthews has been playing in this series, you would have noticed that he has blossomed into one of the great two way centres in the game. He’s playing with intensity, determination and physicality that were missing in previous playoffs..

As for the last four seasons’ playoff failures, I would first point the finger at Dubas for having not added the right pieces as he has done so this year. Except for game 4 and the first period of game 5, this team has shown that this is a much improved version. I don’t know if it is still enough to beat the defending champ, but even if they lose, Matthews will be way down on the list that I’d point my finger at.

Actually, I was just pointing out that getting the 1st overall draft pick is no guarantee of team playoff/Cup success using Matthews and McDavid as examples. Yes, I also used McDavid as an example as not to be seen as picking on Matthews and I did say Matthews (and McDavid) are superstars.

‘In the absence of any on going discussions in this particular Leaf thread about 1st overall pick, it’s only logical for me to come to the conclusion that you’re trolling. I would not have felt the same way if you had posted it in the Canadiens thread where 1st overall pick was being discussed. In any event, no big deal and no hard feelings.
