Damn! Liberals and NDP have a tentative agreement to be BFF until 2025.

Is that a good thing for our climate warrior PM? How is
he going to achieve carbon emission reduction of 45--50%
by 2030?
It's going to be easier than you think. They're going to raise the cost of living so high, driving will become a luxury, a steak dinner an event and an overseas vacation will require a mortgage. We're well on the way. Yey, climate!

This is basically the end of any CPC chances to win federally for the next generation.

The NDP is the tail that wags the Liberal dog. Trudeau should be ashamed of himself.

I think I already heard Mr. Singh say he wants to cut defense spending. Guess that means no new helicopters in our lifetime. Our men and women in military service are risking their lives whenever they get inside one of our 40 year old copters.

This is what I see in this picture.
Trudeau saying to himself and everybody " Sunny ways are back. Trust me"
Singh saying " What a sucker. I'm playing him like a puppet."

Some intelligent and rational Liberals have expressed reservations about this deal. Also, this deal did not get unanimous approval in the NDP caucus.

I give this pact 6 months before it crashes and burn.

Somehow, I think that Trudeau will manage to fuck this deal up well before this three year arranged marriage is over.
Meanwhile as the leaderless CPC tries to find itself, Canada will lack an effective Official Opposition which is necessary for the Canadian Parliament to function properly . The CPC may fracture into different groups even with Poilievre at the helm.

Justin is not known for keeping his promises, quite the opposite. But, as the economy keeps sinking, it will be the NDP backing out.

Imagine the nerve of political parties working together instead of being ultra partisan!
Something tells me that you would not be making this post if it was the NDP and Conservatives joining this type of Union.
