Liberals and NDP Become BFF

Many contributing members of society does not: as examples consultants and other professionals, early retired people, property owners and rentiers.

I think there will be a means test. Some of these consultants, other professionals and property owners make pretty good coin and could pay their own way.

If some Libs don't like this, maybe they'll vote Con if the Cons elect a centrist leader like Brown or Charest.... of course if the Cons get hijacked by the northern Trumpists like Pierre P. they'll shoot themselves in the foot once again.

I would suggest that the NDP and the Liberal vote percentage , if added together , form a majority. That majority may change in the next election. That is called democracy, not dictatoship and certainly not communism..... but by all means, have an irrational hissy fit if it makes you feel better. Maybe rent a Peterbilt and drive around honking your horn or something.

Stuff I heard from liberal lefties over the years.

1) Cutting taxes doesn't benefit people who don't pay taxes.
2) Raising the minimum wage doesn't benefit people who don't/won't work.

That is perhaps the silliest statement I've heard in awhile - your boy thinks budget balances itself and that was before Covid.

If you are an NDP voter - how do feel that your last Federal vote now counts for nothing now - maybe some free dental care for kids but that is it you can bet that the Drama teacher will drag his feet on that.

I have not followed this thread, however, I will just say that this unholy alliance will not be good for Canada or Canadians.
