Canada has had MORE deaths than Yemen despite similar population size AND significantly lower (non-existent) vaccination rates in Yemen. The numbers don't work in your favor no matter how you try.
Population size is largely irrelevant unless you want to suggest Yemen is doing a better job of controlling spread....... then maybe. I can't argue that because I don't know.
What actually matters and I will use the WorldOMeter stats
you provided....
Canada 3,147,209 cases. Of those, 34,956 dead. So one out of every 90 cases ends in death.
Yemen 11,166 cases. Of those 2,208 dead. So one out of every 5 cases ends in death.
So what is the glaring difference that could lead to such a discrepency? Canada is 85% vaccinated, Yemen is 1.2%.
There could be other factors, I don't know much about Yemen's healthcare system. Maybe a portion of those 2200 dead Yemens would have survived if treated in a Canadian hospital. Would a 10% variance appease you? 25%? 50%? Take your pick, the fact remains vaccination efficacy cannot be disputed, not with facts anyhow.
You tell me factually what the numbers reveal rather than pretending all Canadians and all Yemens have been infected and just don't know it. That's like suggesting all humans have been abducted by aliens but only a small few havent had the experience erased from their memories.
