I got banned for calling someone was "brainless." But apparently telling someone to "go fuck yourself" doesn't warrant a ban.
My only issue is with what I believe are some inconsistencies. I see examples of people flagrantly flouting the rules in terms of insulting and name calling (your example above) and apparently they get away it.

It's pretty frustrating as they disrupt the tenor of the discussions. I think the mods do a good job policing the name calling but I'm not as sure regarding the trolling.

Are you sure about that? I think are protesting the Liberal mandate. The truckers should leave and suck it up for two more months because it will be gone by then as one country after another opens up (UK, Denmark, Norway etc.) .
I believe because of the now occupiers they will cause the mandates to go on longer. If they had left after the first weekend the mandates would probably be done by the end of the month.

One the main problems, I think , thjat after two years people have "government rule" fatigue" , particularly when there have been so many missteps and back-tracking along the way. This is with all levels of Gov. I think that is why you have so many double vaccinated people and non-truckers (farmers in particular) joining in. Bringing out new mandates so late (hopefully) in the game is just was the last straw I think.
