Who else thinks that Trudeau hasn't clue of what to do and has lost total control of the situation which largely his government's doing.
I don't think that's a fair comparison. Dealing with the indigenous people is a very hot topic and potentially explosive and any political leader must tread very lightly when dealing with their issues.
In dealing with a bunch of poorly educated, selfish, ignorant anarchists that 90% of the country is against, it would be much easier to put the hammer down with a show of force at the proper time.
But we are here. This is who is in power and he just got re-elected.
So again, what is the solution? The majority have spoken. They voted. That is what a democracy is. So when the majority have done this whether you agree or not, do you believe the solution is civil unrest and a revolt?

I supported him in 2016 because of the marijuana legislation and though he actually cared about people’s choice and will do what is fundamentally right and make this hobby legal by giving consenting adults their basic fundamental human rights to choose what to do with their bodies vs what their government thinks it’s right for them. Right now I feel ashamed I didn’t vote against him in the latest election and that I was so naive to fall for this bs and overlooked his racist acts in the past thinking he can change he can make a Canada a better palce. Look you don’t have to be happy about it. I didn’t vote for him. I wish someone else won but they didn’t. So we have what we have because people voted and this was the outcome. That is what democracy is. We don’t just say - “I don’t like what the rest of the country said so I’m going to revolt.” You want to scream democracy and freedom and yet when you get it, you spit in the face of it. It doesn’t work like that.
Like it or not, we have Trudeau. Canada spoke and this is what most of the people wanted. Deal with it.
I wish the media would stop calling them protesters. What they did in Ottawa is criminal. They are terrorists and criminals and should be dealt with as such. Hopefully the police in Toronto do their jobs, unlike those in Ottawa.

I badly wanted a change from Stephan Harper but when you really took a good look at what Trudeau was saying it was appalling. The foremost thing on most Canadians minds are economic challenges. All I ever hear from him in every speech is racism, white supremacy and Islamophobia. He's about as progressive as it gets. His extreme identity politics have carved a deep division in this country. The sooner he is gonzo the better.
If these protests help facilitate that then good as far as I'm concerned.

He called an election in the middle of the pandemic. Think about that for a minute. Done thinking. He tried to pull a fast one on the country thinking that things were about as favourable as it could be to get his majority government. But surprise surprise even with his bought and paid for media he still lost the majority vote and we ended up in exactly the same position as before. Well not just the same come to think about it because we were out 600 million for the cost his folly.
The ''fringe minority'' who he calls mostly racists and misogynists' have had it with him and his divisive rhetoric. He always talking about dialogue and transparency. Let's see what his next move is because this isn't going away anytime soon I can guarantee you that.

I think Trudeau is smart not to go anywhere near people who are loony enough to want to get the governor general and the senate to take over the government. They are not dealing in reality.
