Does anyone know if the Roof was open for today's Dallas game or not ? I've been to AT&T Stadium twice and I've noticed sunlight does shine thru the windows onto the field when sun is low, and it was a big issue in this game. Does anyone know if the Roof was open or not ? Many media is saying the sunlight shining thru the roof was the problem however I don't think the roof is the issue. It's the windows not having coverings in that end zone. Nevertheless, I agree it is a terrible design flaw for a $ 1.3 billion stadium. The stadium was built 4 degrees off its intended orientation, they noticed the error after the foundation had been poured. It was too late to correct due to time constraints. Why didn't they just AT&T as a north - south orientation ? I realize there are design constraints with parking lots and entry streets, but even an offset of 20 degrees would probably have resulted in the sunlight being cut off by the structure. Aren't most football stadiums north - south or 45 degree orientation ? Thoughts welcome.
