Want to see how much better an N95 mask is than any other cloth type mask? The next time the temperature drops to -10, get in your car during the day with no mask to start. As you breath you can see your breath going everywhere. Next try a cloth surgical type mask. You'll see your breath escape out the sides and out the top by your nose. Next put on the N95. You'll see very little vapour escaping. The N95 offers the best protection, by far.

The question was never what is better, it was what is good enough and for that matter what is better than nothing.

If Phil gets a hard on over your comment it is because his penis is special needs as it's pretty obvious. Also it's been explained over and over.

It would be a bit like someone claiming the holocaust never happened and when some new data comes out saying 5.5 million not 6 million Jews died and the guy does a dance of joy, see I told you so!

But he doesn't merit one.

Nobody ever denied that N95s were the best. He kept claiming, however, that all other masks were useless, which is clearly not true because they still block varying amounts of virus.

The data proves over and over again that people wearing surgical masks made no impact whatsoever in reducing new infections

By that measure I'm still good with no mask. Hikikomori for the win bitches.

Still wear an N95 mask though and even a face shield when I get the vax. However it is abundantly clear, lessor masks do work, just not as well. I N95ed up recently because well fuck, if they offered a monthly shot against the cold I'd be all over that like a fat kid on pizza.
If you are spending 8 hours a day treating covid patients you probably want to go full potato, if you stay at home except for groceries and lotto tickets, a surgical mask if probably more than fine.
Also i find now that I am used to it, it ain't no thang. Did take a bit of getting used to.
