I watched the "Return to Hogwarts" special on Crave. Emma Watson is an emotional wreck, despite her wealth and success. No one could predict what might come out of her mouth, including her. Not sure if this is an effect of growing up as child actor of such fame who spent so much of her teenage years on movie sets, red carpets, photo shoots and in interviews. Her best course is to spend some time away from the industry and pull herself together. Our best course is to ignore everything she says in the meantime.

Dumb is not realizing that her views are like those who opposed apartheid in the 80's and that its not a minority view.
Support for apartheid is a generational thing, its really mostly those who are really old now.

What its also doing is making calls of antisemitism over criticism of Israeli policy into a public debate.

The one who came out of the Harry Potter franchise best is Daniel Radcliffe. His mother is an accountant, she arranged for a profit sharing deal with the producers similar to what Viggo Mortensen got for LOTR. Since then he's made the films he wants to make. Swiss Army Man was farkin hilarious.

Sorry, I don't agree. If you keep labeling everyone who dares to criticize Israel an "anti-semite" the word becomes meaningless. (Law of diminishing returns.) End of the day, Israel is not above criticism.

Same with the word "racist". Labelling everyone a racist seems to be the big things these days. Only thing is the word no longer has meaning.

Besides, Palestinians are Semites.

When all other arguments have failed your powers of suasion, lobbing the "antisemite" grenade is all that is left.

ROTFLMFAO!! Where can you exercise open Jew hatred in the free world, do tell? That is why ALL the Jew haters(anti semites) are on the side of those who condemn Israel- right or wrong. This is Canada's definition of anti-semitism. From that single post, I don't see Watson's post as anti-Semitic.
