^ Pretty surprised you haven't heard about the SEX/LIFE series. It got a lot of buzz over the summer months because of how steamy this Netflix show was supposed to be. I don't subscribe to Netflix any longer. Plus, I don't download torrents because I don't have a VPN so I still haven't seen this sexy show with Sarah. Really hope I can find a way to watch it before the new year. Sarah hasn't done a lot of nude scenes in her career, but this series apparently she does enough. Apparently, she fell in love with her co-star and are in a "real life" relationship now. LOL

Some diversion away from the 4th Wave of Covid - 19.

The Awards nominations have come out with Kenneth Branagh's Belfast, Jane Campion's The Power of the Dog leading the way. I haven't watched Belfast yet, I have watched Power of the Dog, it has staying power. It's a Shakespeare/Machiavelli parable on a very slow burn. The characters are interwoven so well that you're hooked into their machinations even when the character is slimy (Benedict Cumberbatch). Kodi Smith McPhee is a slam dunk to win Best Supporting Actor as the Little Lord Fauntleroy/The Prince of the tale.
In third place is Will Smith's King Richard, advertised as "the story that inspired the world" - how? The Williams sisters are just tennis players.

On a side note The Golden Horks has gotten smashed with no coverage and no stars due to it's chronic racism. The furor began when the overtly racist Emily in Paris got nominations while while Judas and the Black Messiah was shut out. Just to be objective I watched a bit of Emily, it tries to be Married with Children and misses completely. Obviously the writers didn't understand satire, falling back on caricatures is a poor substitute.

The sad part about no Golden Horks - no Ricky Gervais.

Good call Superstar _88, Bad Sister and Run Hide Fight are the type of films that the Militant Woke want to ban.

Isabel May is primarily known for Young Sheldon, she's stepping out of her comfort zone. It seems to me that she looking to Sigourney Weaver as a role model - not Kristen Stewart. Let the backlash begin.

After careful considering, looking past my initial reaction, I disagree with The Critical Drinker. He said that Tolkein didn't write LOTR/Hobbit to include people of colour, he's misguided. Tolkein's books where not written as sacraments, they're just fantasy open to interpretation. By his reasoning Denzel Washington shouldn't play MacBeth - even thought he's sensational. After Michael Fassbender's listless performance, this is a triumph - especially for the Coen Bros. Adapted for the screen by Ethan Coen, directed by Joel Cohen. It has the look of Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal. A Shakespeare film hasn't won Best Picture since Olivier's Hamlet.

Very different from the Stalinist version of Patrick Stewart.

Drinker doesn't get it, Sexy Rexy is worth $50 million at the box-office easily - no matter how bad the film maybe. People love watching sexy make nice light snacks out of evil humans, so more of the same.

First we got carboard Batman, now we're getting pasty candyass Batman but the film may be worth watching...Paul Dano as The Riddler.

Daniel Day Lewis is a big fan of Paul Dano.

It's confirmed, can we assume that Covid - 19 is going away? The Batman grossed $134 million on it's opening weekend. I'm still not sold on Robert Pattinson as Batman, he didn't sell to me in Tenet. Paul Dano was born to play The Riddler, for him I'll be watching this in the theater. Someone told Daniel Day Lewis that Dano was brilliant in The Batman. His reply, "just as I thought".

Paul Dano played twins in There Will Be Blood.

Paul Dano is one of the most talented actors of his generation. He was sensational in Prisoners, helping to turn Hugh Jackman into a serious actor.

Amber Girl from St John has survived getting brutalized by James Corden.

Tom Cruise doesn't get his head chopped off in American Made.

In official Deep Water went down like the Titanic.

Joe Pesci is correct: "Ben Affleck sucks big fuckin big elephant cocks, how do yah like that". I don't mind Ben Affleck sucking but why does he have to take down talented actors with him. Ana de Armas and Jacob Elordi.

Ana de Armas was terrified of Christopher Plummer, old rapscallion that he was, he told her a dirty joke. She guffawed uncontrollably than saw him as human.

The return of the uncompromising Mia Goth.

Most actresses can cry on command, Mia can orgasm on command, which she did in Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac I, II. her other film credits include the bizarre The Cure For Wellness and the remake of Suspira. In her latest she plays a porn star. Jack Nicholson says, "I wish I was 20 years younger".

For those that have never seen her before, she's the one on the left.
