I concede. Although I am still out on Joe Cocker. And the Moody Blues. It was kind of tongue in cheek. Just that there is more of their stuff that bugs me than satisfies.
Elton John may be short and ugly, but he can sing.

Joe Cocker was training as an apprentice gas fitter at the same time as my friend and he never shut up about the gigs he was playing. Apparent one of the instructors told Cocker 'You will never be a gas fitter as long as you have a hole in your arse'.. Guess he found a nice alternative career.
Strongly disagree with Pink Floyd. Yes, they did some weird shit early in their career, but everyone was. Shine On You Crazy Diamond has been cited by several very respected musical academics as being as close to musically perfect as it is possible to come.
