Nope. In council, he can recuse himself prior to any vote so as not to be in conflict of interest. Tell me where he's in conflict of interest?I just think there might be a conflict of interest there

Whats the difference between not being able to sit on the board, and yet still peddling influence during off-hours??!!Nope. In council, he can recuse himself prior to any vote so as not to be in conflict of interest. Tell me where he's in conflict of interest?
Say you wake up in the middle of night. While playing with your privates, you decide to turn on the radio. You get updates on the news, sports, finance and weather. Then the radio star say it is now "33 minutes past the hour". Does that actually tell you the proper time? You still rely on the radio to tell you the time?
I certainly don't agree with everything the Mayor does, but if there's one thing Tory can't be accused of, it's not working enough hours. This guy is on TV giving interviews at 6:00 AM then at city functions in the evenings and also works most weekends. Again, is there any proof he's using his power as Mayor to benefit Rogers? Considering there's lots of reporters and media people who hate the Mayor, I have yet to see anyone spell out where he's in conflict of interest. He's a smart guy and you can bet he's careful enough not to breech ethics guidelines. Unlike our Prime Minister.Whats the difference between not being able to sit on the board, and yet still peddling influence during off-hours??!!
Have a look at Martha Rogers tweet from yesterday
I thought he was doing a good job until he brought out the photo speed camerasI certainly don't agree with everything the Mayor does, but if there's one thing Tory can't be accused of, it's not working enough hours. It's just a tax though. If I had a choice, it would be a photo radar ticket over a Police issued one.I thought he was doing a good job until he brought out the photo speed cameras
Most of the time that I wake up in the middle of the night, I take a piss and go back to sleep. I've also heard that some people have a device called a clock, a watch, or even a cellular phone which also tell the time.Say you wake up in the middle of night. Yes, one of my pet peeves are people who can't tell time. Not saying you are one of them. BTW: What time is it now?
Considering it's a tax on people who pose a risk to pedestrians (especially children as they are in school zones)...It's just a tax though. If I had a choice, it would be a photo radar ticket over a Police issued one.
Photo Radar: Fine (tax).
Police Issued: Fine, possible demerit points, increase insurance premiums.
You don't turn on the radio to hear if WWIII started while you were sleeping? Most of the time that I wake up in the middle of the night, I take a piss and go back to sleep. I've also heard that some people have a device called a clock, a watch, or even a cellular phone which also tell the time.
Are you so paranoid that you worry that WWIII started every few hours? That explains a lot.You don't turn on the radio to hear if WWIII started while you were sleeping?
...
No need to say AM or PM but I still get annoyed with people who simply say the time is 22 minutes past the hour when I wake up in the middle of the night. Are you so paranoid that you worry that WWIII started every few hours? That explains a lot.
I maybe listen to 680 when I'm getting dressed in the morning or I'm already on the road and want to get an idea about traffic (though if I really want to know I pull over and check my phone which is much more detailed than what they air every ten minutes). Otherwise I find scanning a few websites gets me the important news much quicker than waiting through 20 minutes of random puff pieces to find what I want to know.
Do you also get confused when they state the time without saying whether it is AM or PM?
Helpful hint: don't wake up in the middle of the night! No need to say AM or PM but I still get annoyed with people who simply say the time is 22 minutes past the hour when I wake up in the middle of the night.
I somewhat agree with that statement. On the other hand, they often put them in "school zones" where the school is both fenced in and set way back from the roadway. The streets are 4 or 6 lanes wide in some cases and the speed limits are set artificially below what is a reasonable, safe speed. I'm sure these cameras are raking in huge fines as they're on 24/7 including weekends and holidays.Considering it's a tax on people who pose a risk to pedestrians (especially children as they are in school zones)...
Oh boy, and you must be a John Tory supporter. It has to be in your DNA.Oh boy...
You must be closely related to Dutch Oven... it must be in your DNA...
