Classic boxer vs puncher here.......

Going to take Fury by late stoppage but with that power Wilder can end it at any time.

plus his legs were tired from wearing that walk out costume into the ring.
A supposedly world class athlete was taken down by a glorified batting doughnut that he had to wear for a few minutes.

Fury has already wined about not being able to choose the gloves lol.

There's rumors that Fury only trained for 3 weeks, plus his father was not happy about how the camp went for the initial July date, before the "positive covid test." Big John, also has an issue with the trainer Tyson has as he thinks his style is only good for one fight. It looks like the excuses are already lined up.

I suspect Tyson is gonna come in super heavy, and if that's the case, he's gotta stop Wilder by the 7th or else he'll get caught with something. Wilder has made improvements in his training with Malik Scott now in his corner, so Fury better have a new strategy.

Both fighters weighed-in at their heaviest.
Fury came in at 277 lbs, so he'll be damn near 300 lbs during the fight. He better hope the fight does not go into the later rounds. Bob Arum was even stating that he has a chance of getting caught, the longer the fight goes on.

Wilder at 238. He's definitely put a lot more muscle on.

Logical pic is Fury but Wilder always has a puncher's chance.

Wilder has played this better than he initially thought by legally dragging Fury away from the unification fight with Joshua. Fury will no doubt be pissed - feeling that it should have been him taking Joshua's belt - that fight will never be as big any more, nor hold much upside for Fury even if Joshua were to regain his belt - this could disrupt Fury's focus or even get him to fight angrier which definitely opens the door a little wider for Wilder to land big.

Fighting off the mutual layoff should also benefit Wilder. Wilder always looks like a fighter coming out of retirement after 3 or 4 years, he has no sharpness to loose! Wilder handled the previous inactivity pretty well but if anyone is the looser from that scenario it's the boxer.

Not sure if Fury legitimately had COVID19 or if that was made up story, but if true that would also increase his risks.

These factors serve to make it somewhat interesting whereas in 2020 it seemed that Fury just had Wilder's number.

Best heavyweight fight I have seen in years.

Much respect to Wilder.....He's one tough SOB, that's for sure.

But the better boxer prevailed. Survived 2 knockdowns and kept going forward. His jab kept Wilder from establishing any constant pressure.

Let's see if the Wilder camp comes up with any excuses.......

This rivalry is over. Max kelerman is trying to be someone whose name I forget, longtime interview guy, anyone help with a name?.........Fury will fight the winner of joshua usyk, everyone assumes it will be usyk. If he wins that he should probably retire. If he continues he will eventually get beat due to not respecting his opponent like they all have at some point.

That was some kind of fight. This is what boxing needs to resurrect itself.

I was wrong in my prediction. Wilder would've won if he didn't resort to his old ways. He was boxing in the beginning and winning on the cards. He went back to resorting to just trying to land the big right hand. Tyson got away with a lot of rabbit punching and headlocking.

However, Tyson was definitely exposed. He'll definitely struggle against the more complete fighters like Whyte and Usyk. There's also heavily avoided up and comer Filip Hrgović that nobody wants to fight, but he probably won't get a shot in the near future.

Next year will be more interesting as Spence vs Crawford will most likely happen, and Canelo will have to fight a real contender like Charlo, Andrade, Benevidez, or even someone at 175. Canelo has to be careful with Plant in November though , that's not an easy fight.

Wilder was never going to win, Round 4 was his only chance. He got dominated the rest of the match and it showed within the Score Cards by the judges.

Just Hating on Fury by blaming Rabbit Punching and head locks.
You cant beat a boxer who keeps getting back up and pushing forward.

Take the loss like a man and stop making excuses like Wilder's camp.

Fury is a known dirty fighter, but I didn't say the win wasn't legit and that his tactics should negate it.

Fury was having enormous trouble when Wilder was just boxing. I wanna see how he's gonna do against someone who isn't just a puncher, as he's most likely gonna have to face Dillian Whyte next, whose been the WBC mandatory for a long time.

Andre Ward complained about the ref's slow count.

Crawford vs Spence and Canelo vs any legit competition are the more intriguing fights in boxing. Heavyweight boxing hasn't been the same since Tyson retired. These fights will easily outsell anything featuring Fury, Joshua, and Usyk.

Rumblings about Floyd Mayweather vs Oscar De La Hoya II may knock Canelo out of a Mexican holiday spot next year.
