This fight is also not without controversy. As I did say, Andre Ward did mention the slow count during the fight, so it's not some post-fight conspiracy theory. The commission and the ref have some splainin' to do.

Andre Ward complained about the ref's slow count.
I beg to differ, a boxer that is knocked down and still has his wits about him as in this case with Fury will react to the Ref's counting. If the Ref was counting quicker , Fury would have gotten up quicker. Boxers will stay down as long as possible to get that extra bit of rest before the count gets to 10.

I'll say it over and over again. Deontay is a one trick pony who cant box. If your power punch does not work, you have to actually box the guy. Deontay has no fundamentals. The Strategy that Deontay employs is he just waits to employ his power punch but when Tyson negates it by throwing his body on him, he cant do shit. No foot movements, no head movements, nothing.

Mike Tyson although a power puncher use to actually box by using fundamental movement to move as a true In fighter by working the body and lowering the guard. Once the guard is lowered from his brutal body shots, Tyson would then employ his classic Dempsey Roll and upper cut or cross with his fist.

Tyson Fury has actually fought real boxers like Klitschko and few others.

Claim all you want about Fury being a dirty fighter but ultimately what counts is the Win and its easy to see he won all 3 Fights of the Trilogy.

As I said, the ref and commission have to do the explaining. There's a reason why the ringside ref starts counting first.

Of course what counts is a win. Everyone knows Wilder is a one trick pony. Doesn't mean the officiating was fair.

The WBC may be investigated soon by congress. There's rumors of a petition circulating among trainers and fighters due many of the shenanigans as of late. I'm gonna bet that if Canelo wins his next fight (he's the current cash cow, so of course he's the big favorite), it won't be without controversy.

Honestly I like Canelo as a boxer. Strong boxing fundamentals along with a good punch. Also wins by knock out.

I think his only challenge with GGG and I would argue GGG won the first fight although it was a draw. However GGG is too old now and no one beats father time in boxing I would like to see someone push Canelo back.

as for controversy, i only sus IBF. There is a reason Cus d amato would not allow tyson and his fighters to fight under IBF and only under WBC. Who knows?!

Right now it's the WBA and WBC that's been criticized the most. Most recently Oscar Valdez was allowed to fight even though he tested positive for a banned substance. He's from Canelo's gym, who have had 3 positive tests in the last 3 years. Canelo's win over Lara was very controversial as well. Canelo hasn't really knocked out a good in prime fighter, and he tends to avoid the best competition available.

There was another controversy with The WBA not too long ago as well. If you look up the fighter Mychal Fox, you'll see it.

He's too old to change his style. Malik Scott had him doing the right in the beginning but he eventually reverts back to his old self when he's in trouble. I think he already has permanent damage from the 2nd fight anyways.

Here is a more precise time count of the knock down:

at the youtube 1:31 mark , Fury's elbow touches the canvas and he is down, at the 1:41 youtube mark, Fury gets up completely , he is up within 10 seconds, not after!

he isn't too old to learn new tricks...Pacman changed style after the Morales fight and won the 2nd and the 3rd and pretty much improved his boxing...

Joe Rogan along with Teddy Atlas are the latest to join Andre Ward.

The youtube vid and time evidence does not lie, Fury was up on his feet within 10 seconds, Wilder was not robbed, time for him to retire for his health's sake, he's lost to Tyson twice, what's the point in continuing.
