Not only did he lose his coaching career, he also lost any chance of getting a network talking head gig. And Frank Caliendo lost his best impression.
He felt he was conversing with people who shared the same thoughts and wouldn't be offended. If I'm not mistaken, these only came to light as evidence during a civil trial. Sort of shows that Gruden is a piece of shit....
I read these emails came to light during the investigation into the working environment at the Washington Football Team facilities.
He was communicating with a Washington executive.
The investigating team found Gruden's email which just opened an entire can of worms.

Agreed. I think it would be stupid to do it in any written form of communication. But to do it to someone's work email, or from your work email....that's just idiotic and asking for trouble. But, not shockingly, it shows how many in the NFL (ant their fans) view POC and the LGBT community. I mean, I remember about 25 years ago how it was such a big story that Kordell Stewart was a quarterback because he was black. Going further back, Warren Moon. They didn't think blacks were intelligent enough for the position, or lacked leadership skills. Racist BS....
He thought he was posting under his terb account.
He resigned, this worked out well for them as he hadn't done much in 4 years. They were always going sideways.
