Trivia: Name the three former Toronto Blue Jays to hit a home run in a Major League game after their 43rd birthday, (they did not necessarily accomplish the feat while playing for the Jays). Two other MLB players who never played for the Jays did so, as well.

Can only think of Dave Winfield
Correct!

Time to order some Booster Juice on Skip…. mix that in with a No Boats On Sunday Apple Cider on the side. Get out a couple of voodoo dolls dressed as Yankees and Red Sox. Start poking pins through them and light them on fire……

Go Jays Go!!!!!

Wow Vladdy is powerful!

That was an opposite field line drive that barely left his bat when it went out. Then Teoscar throws a bag of sunflower seeds at him...at least he didn't slap him in the nuts.

Did anyone see the interview with Joey Bats? He played in the Olympics for the Domenican Republic and sent his warmest regards. Good on Hazel Mae for contacting him.

Is he related to Billy Batts?
I remember the Blue Jays Caravan to Saskatchewan in early January. Joey never once complained about the weather, he was really into promoting the Jays in Western Canada. He generated quite a following while in Saskatoon, I've always respected him for that.

And eliminated. On the last day of the season. It could easily have gone the other way.

Probably the best collection of stars in the AL. Problem was that the pitching staff wasn't put together until August and those early late inning losses cost a playoff berth, or maybe even a run at Tampa for the AL-E.

Despite the brilliant talent and potential, the batting order was still not experienced enough to cope with really good veteran pitching consistently and this cost them in the last week against TB and NYY. They dropped out of a solid WC position by going 2-4 against those teams before bouncing back for 3 straight against the shit-awful pitching of the O's.

They did that in a season where promised superstar / team leader George Springer was injured for most of it. Where star pitched Ryu was inconsistent.

So the ? is whether they can afford Ray and Semien and - if they can - whether the players will individually have as outstanding a year in 2022 as they had in 2021.

11 time Gold Glove winner Omar Vizquel.

The other two: Juan Samuel and Bartolo Colón, (Colón's only Major League home run).
