Ok pom pom boy. There was a reason he spent 22 years on Tampa without a promotion. He sat on his ass when the opposing manager was barking at Ray. A good manager would have been barking back. When you have 5 players accumulating 500 rbis and the most likely Cy winner and miss the playoffs, questions need to be answered, clown boy.
Every commentator I listened to said that Kiermayer was not outside the Baseball Man Code to steal those notes and smuggle them back to his dugout. So Borucki was a turd to hit him and deserved to be tossed. And Charlie was right not to chirp.

You stand alone with your opinion.

Yankees turned it up late and ran away with this one.

Despite Gary Sanchez, who is the worst defensive catcher these eyes have seen in the majors, trying to give them a few runs.

Stanton is an unstoppable force right now and Judge isn't far behind. If I was Montoya I would have walked Stanton and taken my chances with Gallo. Would have been a gutsy move however.

Vladdy picking a bad time to have a slump for the Jays........

Cole is up next for the Bronx Bombers.....A dominant win would go along way in the voters minds for the Cy Young. Big chance for him to step up.

This does not look good now that the Mariners have jumped ahead of the Jays. Oh boy - would be nice we take th enext 2, but the way the Jays have been playing as of late, I don't see that happening.

That's because Jays have a game in hand, hopefully they can win that game. Come on Baltimore!!! Come on Angels!!!!
great win tonight. I have tickets tomorrow - woohoo. One thing though - stop the talk of guerrero as mvp. Semien is better, so is Hernandez and Bichette. Right now, Vlad is an easy out. He cant get it up any more. Even his one hit was a bouncer down the line

You just proved how out to lunch you are and have reading comprehension issues.

I never said that he'd win. Show me a quote where I said he's going to win. I posted a link to an article which had a different opinion than you. If you do find a post where I picked him, I will not post anything on TERB for 2 weeks. If you can't find a quote, you don't post for one week.

Time for you to put up or shut up, Mr. cock sure of himself. Guaranteed you will chicken out. You don't have the guts.

You are the one that is going to turtle. I do not turtle. I do not duck debates. I attempt to back up what I say.

BTW, Montoyo is the Vegas betting favourite to win Manager of the Year. Hardly zero chance. You are all talk but know nothing about what you are talking. You are proving yourself to be a total dumbass. 😂 😂😂😂
AL & NL Manager of the Year Odds - Prop Betting on MLB Managers (gamblingsites.org)

  • Charlie Montoyo, Blue Jays (+700)
  • Aaron Boone, Yankees (+750)
  • Rocco Baldelli, Twins (+800)
  • Alex Cora, Red Sox (+900)
Are you going to take that bet on what you claim I said?
In response to Shit-In-His Pants:
Ok turtle boy, you're neutral on montoyo yet you say he's gonna win manager of the year. Charlie Montoyo has zero chance at manager of the year.
And I offered to bet on this claim of yours.

I knew that you were too chicken to reply and take a bet.

Those odds to win manager of the year were from before the season began. I knew there was something odd about them when Baldelli was listed as third favourite, lol. The Twins have had a horrible year. Without checking any oddsmakers, I would think Cora, Montoyo, Cash, La Russa and Servais would all be considered, with the winner decided by how their teams finish. My guess is Cash will win, but Montoyo has a chance if Jays sneak in.

With a quality start and hopefully a win tonight, Ray will win the Cy Young, Cole's ERA is now at 3.23 after earning 5 runs last night.

It also looked odd to me but, admittedly, I did not pick up on the date. Thanks for pointing it out.

Regardless, I have never stated that Charlie will win manager of the year as pp claims I did. Since I challenged him on that and proposed a bet he has been silent.

Vlad has faded badly. I wonder if he is injured.

The MVP talk has died down and Vlad has fallen far off the pace in both the HR and RBI race. No more triple crown.

Gutsy win by the Jays against a Yankees team looking for redemption.

Whenever Vladdy hits a cold snap, he'll get an extra base hit in one game then go 3-4 the next. I expect a big game from him tonight. Giancarlo Stanton is an intense dude. No way Vladdy could get away with slapping him in the nuts like he did to Judge on the opening game of the season.

I think Kevin Cash is a shoe in for the honour......With Alex Cora perhaps second.

Nobody had the Sox penciled in for this kind of year after last year.

As for Montoyo I'm just not sure how he has made that much of a difference within the games themselves.

As for last night, I thought for a moment there Stanton had one in the top of the eighth. But it fell short. Holmes giving up that shot to Bichette was a rarity. He's a power sinker ball pitcher, why in God's name do you throw a slider to a guy who was locked in all game. Anyways great moment for Bo and the Jays. As usual the celebration irked me. Hope the Yankees remember that tonight. This is the biggest game of Ray's career thus far. Let's see how he responds to the pressure. A dominant victory here will definitely increase his salary leverage in the off season. Yankees usually do well against power Lefty's.......Let's see if they are up to the challenge.

Here
It looks like in one half inning he blew his Cy Young probabilities and the BJ's playoff chances... 😞

What a cruel game baseball can be!
